Not crafted well
Very uncomfortable, it hurts when I walk because a seam or something unfinished is scraping into my foot. Very sad and unfortunate buy. I’ve been dreaming of nice house slippers and the dream is yet to be realized.
I didn’t know Birkenstock made fast fashion.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! The “shearling” will wear off in less than a year and you’ll be left with a sweat factory. You’re better off saving the money and just getting regular non shearling ones bc that’s all that’s left after a year. Not only that, but Birkenstock will tell you that they can’t help you bc all shoes “wear differently”. I’m sorry but a year of indoor use only should not result in entire sections of material wearing off. For $170 I was expecting a high quality, long lasting product. Instead I got a worthless item that the brand then told me to go spend MORE money on to repair. Not only will I warn everyone away from the shoe, but from the brand overall. Incredibly poor customer service and products. If you ever wondered why Birks doesn’t have reviews on their website - this is why.
Wonderful slippers
I bought these for my husband to replace his sheepskin slippers that had fallen apart. Much sturdier than the famous brand slippers everyone wears!
Too hard and arches are too high
After trying the women’s version which were way too narrow I ordered the men’s. While the width is fine they suffer the same issues as the women’s. The footbed is so hard and uncomfortable. The arch of the footbed is also really high and digs into my arches. The hard footbed wouldn’t work for me regardless but the fur adds bulk and height to the arches so these are really only going to be feasible for people with super high arches who like hard footbeds.
Good - but…
Well build and comfy, however, within a year ( winter season ) the shearling starts to wear off and you get bald spots in the clogs. Not that impressive for the money, Second pair so it’s not a unicorn.
Best slippers
I bought these for house slippers and they are great. Warm, supportive and very comfortable. I could ware them all day.
