FUNCTION: I'm impressed with this jacket for skiing. While it is more like a shell, the minimal insulation feels warm without being too much. It's incredibly breathable but also windproof. This jacket kept me warm on the way up but not sweating while skiing hard down the mountain. I had no issues with the conditions, -10°C/14°F with moderate snow and powder flying. The zippers all worked beautifully. The hand pockets do not have the waterproof zippers. Another downside is no two-way zipper down the front, but I never needed it. Seams are all intact after a week of heavy skiing and walking. FIT: The medium fit perfectly according to the size chart and for my measurements, 35-29-36/34DD. I'm usually a US S/M. I was able to wear a down insulation layer with a couple thermal shirts and still had room without it looking too bulky. Hood fits very snug around a helmet- almost too snug. Front neck/chin guard was warm and comfy. Overall, I'm happy with this jacket. This French company cares deeply about sustainability, so I'm glad to support their efforts.
I love this back. It’s warm and has of pockets in all the right places. 5’10”, 190 lbs, purchased an XL and there is enough room for a base layer and sweatshirt underneath.
The jacket is great quality and seems like it would be warm, but I ordered a medium and could not even fit in one sleeve :/ Tried an XL and still wasn't big enough to wear any layers underneath. Likely better for skiing than snowboarding. Company seems very focused on environmental impact which is wonderful!
