Love this little jacket!
I'm actually loving this jacket! It completely lives up to it's description of being a warm, but very light jacket for being active in cold temps. This jacket is so light, but still warm. It's perfect for hiking. I've been grabbing this over my normal puffer. And wear it to work. It's roomy enough, while still being svelte. Full range of motion without looking boxy. And the fabric is nice and soft and smooth and quiet when walking. I normally wear a large, but I'm 5'3" and the medium fits me really well, the sleeves too. I hiked today in 30 degree cloudy winter weather and had to take the jacket off while going uphill. It's just so awesomely light and comfortable, zero regrets on this purchase and I like the Arctic green color I got.
LOVE the Buckwheat Brown!!! The BEST color!
San Diego perfect!!! I've been looking for a mustard/ochre/gold color lightweight packable-and this was the ONLY one I could find! Not North Face. Not Patagonia. Not REI. My very first Fjallraven purchase, and I am in LOVE! Somewhat pricey-but I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this sweet jacket! I got the medium, and I am 5'2" and it fit me perfectly. My arms are a little short, and the sleeves were PERFECT (sorry long armed people...) I am flat chested due to a double mastectomy with no reconstruction, so it just might be too snug for a booby person...Just sayin'
Vintage modern appeal
I love this jacket. Bought it in Buckwheat brown - the sleeve length and jacket length is a perfect fit for my petite frame. Insulated enough to keep me warm in 30 something degrees and lightweight enough for comfort. Happy it does not have a hood.
Bought this to hike the Smokies in
All of my winter/fall jackets are kinda too dressy/nice to do outdoorsy stuff in and I needed something warm and durable to wear while camping and hiking in the Smoky mountains this fall. I looked at Patagonia and Cotapaxi and ultimately decided on this one after trying all 3 brands on in store and reading reviews. I'm 5'4, 130 lbs and a M is perfect for me with enough room to wear a thick sweater or fleece on underneath it. As soon as I tried it on my partner told me how stylish and cool I looked :) I just wanted something to be warm and fit okay as I found the Cotapaxi jackets of a similar style to fit my hips strangely. I love how lightweight it is and easy to pack away while still keeping me plenty toasty and comfortable. Also love the hidden inside pocket!
Expedition jacket
On the rack this jacket stood out. Love the color. True to size. I’m 112 and 4’10” and have plenty of room for a heavy sweater with a size Small. Three pockets, two deep pockets on the outside and a deep one on the inside and all of them zip. Perfect for the warmer winter days. It gets pretty cold here in MI and I can see myself wearing this even on cool summer nights up north. I also love the length. I can wear leggings and it covers my backside pretty good. I was a little leary of this jacket not being down but can’t imagine being any warmer than this one. Lightweight. I wore this jacket with a sweater and leggings yesterday. No hat or scarf. The wind was blowing pretty hard and I got cold. Duh! The windchill was 15. Too cold. Looks great with my Bean Boots!
Perfect for NorCal Weather
This jacket is exactly what I wanted. I looked at this one, Cotopaxi and the Patagonia Nano Puff, but none had colors I really liked in my size. The Fjallraven jacket fits perfectly (I'm 5'3, 150 lbs and bought L), it's extremely well made and has the features I want (inside zipper, adjustable hem, etc.) The only flaw, in my opinion, is I wish the inside of the collar area was a different fabric than the actual jacket because it absorbs perspiration and makeup and gets oddly shiny.
Best daily jacket ever!
This is my second Fjallraven X-Latt. I have one in a sm and now one in the med, for layering. I wear the first one almost daily. It's so comfortable, soft, and flattering. It offers fantastic wind protection!! I wear it indoors on chilly mornings and outdoors all the time. Is much more fluid in movement than the Patagonia Nanopuff and offers a more feminine cut--narrower at the waist and wider at the hips, cut. However, it's still roomy. For reference, I'm 5'5", 126 lbs, 32D with a 26" in waist and 39" in hips. The Nanopuff is tight around my hips in a small and just fits in a medium. But in the shoulders and chest it's giant in the medium. The Fjallraven on the other hand, fits beautifully in the small and in the medium, it still fits beautifully but gives room for a few layers. It still looks proportionately flattering. Con: As with all jackets with this type of fabric, oils from the face stain the fabric around the collar. I wish companies would line the collar with fabric so the staining would not be so obvious.
Great color and lightweight
Well made, soft and comfortable fit. Unfortunately, it is not very warm and was hoping for something a bit more insulated. I think this jacket could be great for a really mild fall.
Excellent lightweight synthetic "down" jacket
This is the perfect lightweight synthetic insulated jacket for hiking or just walking around town in cool weather. It feels the closest to a lightweight down jacket of any synthetic jacket I have worn. Plus it looks stylish. Presumably it will also work as part of a layering system for XC skiing or snow shoeing this winter. What I particularly like is that it has a slim profile while allowing comfortable range of motion in arms and hips.
A nice well-fitting jacket
This jacket is lightweight but warm. I shoveled snow one morning and I actually had to unzip it because I was too warm. I'm broad up top and some jackets are too snug, but I like the fit of this. It's a little longer than some jackets these days, which I also like. This is the first article of Fjallraven clothing I have purchased and I'm quite pleased.
