Snow camping at Falls Creek Victoria

My overall experience was OK but while I like many of the design elements I have some niggles. Little things like the zipper pulls being too small to use with clumsy cold fingers. But I do have a big problem with the cut and the sizing, overall the cut is too constricting and small to call this a belay parka. I purchased an XXL. I normally wear XXL in mens sizes [ I am a 47 inch/119cm chest with broad shoulders] but in some brands I am an XXXL or even larger depending on where they are made. This parka fits me only if I take off my hard shell. I would recommend buying larger if you are going to use it as a belay parka and definitely trying on wearing all your winter layers. Needs to be available in an XXXL for we larger folk and it would be better fitted for belay use if the sleeves were cut more generously. As purchased it makes a decent warm layer for an Australian white season, I can't comment on it's use for climbing as my Alpine days are over and I only used it ski touring Unfortunately the sizing of this is too small for me to wear it over

Worth It!

Absolutely amazing outer layers. Wether it be for cold belays or nights at camp with the temps drop. This parka is a staple in my outdoor rotation. As I try to lesson campfire usage having one extra coat layer makes a big difference.
