I have purchased several base layer products from Smartwool in the past. This is my first Intraknit product. It runs small. I'm normally a medium I had to size up to a large. It is super warm and soft plus it has the 1/4 zip. What I love the most is the color. It's bright and happy looking. I'm going to wear it as a regular shirt with jeans.
I purchased this top in the blue spruce color and it is a beautiful top. The different types of knit that make up this top are so varied and create such intricate patterns. It is very fitted and flattering and has a lot of stretch. For reference I am 5’3” 105 lbs and got size xs.
love the over all design ,the warmth and it also fits a little snug I bought a med. but as a baselayer it works
Love the look of this sweater, which is too pretty to wear underneath something else. The stitching is unique, but just trying it on at the store, I noticed pulled threads on several of the sizes. It's extremely fragile. You can't wear this and expect not to get a pull. I may return to the store where i bought it. [Side note: Smartwool used to be frumpy and now has some sexy, attractive clothes, but the photos on their website do not showcase how pretty the clothes have become. They need a better photographer!]
I love this sweater. It's perfect for when you're cold but don't want to put on a big bulky sweater that's going to make you sweat, and then you're going to end up taking it back off, getting cold, and then putting it back on. I can wear this all day long. It's so comfortable. The sleeves are perfect, it's form-fitting, but I just love it so much. Well-made, and shows every evidence of holding its shape.
This line of base layers is very stylish, but very pricey. Definitely size up (even with base layers that are meant to be fitted, I had to size up to not feel restricted.) Keeps you warm. Only negative: after several washes, it was still very itchy (due to lanolin, most likely.) 5'9", 155lbs, D chest, got size medium (normally a size small in fitted shirts.)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the colors of this shirt, and the cut looks good on me. But for the price, the quality is just not "smartwool" level, the fabric looks old after just 2 washes, the threads have started to pull out in random places because of how loose the weave is. I dont expect to wear it longer than a year whereas my other smartwool 1/4-zips have lasted five.
I work outdoors (landscaper) and bought this as a baselayer. It is perfect. It's not as soft as the merino 250 but this was exactly what I was looking for. Purchased the medium instead of the small based on other reviews. The medium definitely fits like a small so it ended up fitting well.
I like the look of this, but it's very tight. I purchased my regular size (medium) and it was restrictive and not flattering. Returned it, and not sure I'll buy a size up because I wasn't convinced by the shrinky-dink version's overall fit and material. It felt stuffy and stiff.
A little scratchy as far as the material goes, but really hugs curves and flatters the female body. I am usually a medium but I sized up to a large and I'm so grateful that I did. Still very form fitting without being skin-tight. I am 5'5" and about 128 lbs for reference.
