Good idea, but could be easier to install

The wheels are large and sturdy, and handle feels fine. Overall it's a great idea for hauling stuff from the car to a campsite, or something similar. The main issue is how long it takes to get all the wheels on. It's not difficult, but I feel like they missed an opportunity to make a quick clamp and lock mechanism instead of something you have to screw together. The manual does not suggest driving with the wheels attached (for obvious reasons - it would probably bottom out on my small car) so you'd have to attach/reattach the wheels pretty often. I wish they could just fold away or something instead.

Great idea poorly executed

I was very excited picking up my Exo system for the long drive home after Christmas. At the first hotel, I realized the fault: the wheels have a VERY limited weight capacity. The Gear Warrior itself is 22.5 lbs, and the wheels top out at 110 lbs. That’s a HUGE wagon that can only support less than 100 lbs (we just put our suitcases on it and it was enough to compress the plastic wheels and back the cart unusable). If they at least held the weight that the setup is rated to hold on the back of your vehicle, it would make sense. This, however, is a flop.

MegaWheelie

I am currently using a set of wheels on a Yakima Megawarrior as a cart for fair/festival setup and takedown activities. I operate a booth at a fair and need to be able to move folding tables, chairs, tents, other stuff, and inventory from one place to another, about 1/4 mile from each other. The MegaWheelie more than meets the task. Lesson one: make sure the tires are inflated to specification (or maybe a bit more). I can move all seven tables, two chairs, tents, and all storage containers in TWO trips. Definitely makes my life on fair day a lot easier. I get lots of looks wheeling the MegaWheelie around - and it also has an extension - ~6.5' x 4' of goodness. No brakes so there is some tricky moving around sometimes, but it works and looks sooooo good. Also, can transport on my overhaul HD rack with the wheels on. No cons that I have seen - but look at how i'm using it. I wish that i could mount swiveling wheels 'mid-rack' instead of only being able to mount pairs of wheels on the ends of the rack.
