Great for the One Bag Trveler
I see a lot of folks dismissing this product for its small size, however, I don’t find this to be true. I am able to fit an electric toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, razors, full size deodorant, moisturizer, and face wash. The way I do this is by also using the Matador flat packs for liquids and soap bars. I have been able to reduce the size of this bag when rolled by switching to toothpaste tabs, a travel size deodorant, a body and face soap, and a solid moisturizer, along with a non- electric toothbrush. With this smaller configuration I can travel over two weeks without needing to buy and waste packaging at my destination.

Be careful - it's small.
To seal it, you have to roll it three times and then bend the flaps around to secure/snap it shut. This leaves only a little bit of room for toiletries.

Love it

Takes up less space and holds everything I need to take on a trip. Leaks, it doesn't leak.

So tiny

I don't know anyone who carries the small amount of toiletries that fit into this after you've rolled the top down. Not super practical for actual travel.

Great, leak proof toiletry bag

I have a toiletry bag and always used plastic bags for shampoo and other items that tend to leak and ruin everything in the backpack, duffle bag or suitcase. Now that is have this I no longer need plastic bags and it is a great space saver and guaranteed leak proof. I also use it for toiletries when my toiletry bag is too big like on a hike, going camping.

Small but gets the job done.

Pretty sweet and compact. Nice materials. If you put too many things in here or irregularly shaped items, you're going to have a hard time rolling it up at the top and buckling it. Fits the bare essentials but not much else. is waterproof too which is nice.

not worth the $30 for being so small

not a ton of room for toiletries if you're planning on using more than 2-3 things

Great For Camping/Hiking, Bad For Travel

This is a good bag for camping/hiking. Its relatively small size allows you to carry the bare essentials, but nothing else besides that. Having to fold it 3x before clipping makes the bag a lot smaller than I initially thought. If your plan is to use this in a carry-on for a week long trip then this bag is not for you. Unfortunately I was hoping to use this for travel so I’ll be buying a different bag for that and using this one for camping/hiking.

not for wet washcloths or swimsuits

Good. Not quite big enough for full bottles of shampoo to sit nicely. Thought I could use it to pack wet bathing suits and they'd dry while in there. No. That definitely doesn't work. Still, pretty good for putting shower stuff in. I'd probably get the zip one if I bought it again because the roll top is hard when you have a bunch of shower stuff in it.

Wanted to be stoked. Couple of design flaws.

I was hopeful about this. It's a cool color, and the roll-top closure is neat. I was traveling, had sort of a base-camp and then other places I went, my main toiletry bag had long-term stuff in it, I picked this up so I could have a more compact/solo kit. I forgot my electric toothbrush at home (like a fool) and had to buy some generic readily available one. It didn't even come close to fitting in this bag, which was my first "oh, no, is this bag not awesome?" kind of moment. It's too small to fit a super generic, readily-available, standard-issue electric toothbrush. Hey, though - those things aren't known for being super compact. The second moment of questioning was basically that the roll-top limits the upper width a bit. It looks cool, and I like the buckle... but if you really only have the lower half to work with. I can't imagine this is true of the zipper version, which lacks the neat-ness of the roll closure & buckle. Diminished volume. Not a huge deal if you just need toothpaste and the head of a toothbrush, but be wary if you're carrying a razor, travel-size shampoo, travel-size body wash. That's going to be cutting it a little bit close. The final kicker was that I finally did get home one day, and I grabbed my trusty ol' travel toothbrush in the 90's style plastic travel tube... and it did not fit in this. A standard toothbrush is too long for this. The bag tapers a little bit, right, so If you fill the bottom of it with your toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, you should get enough of a floor to get to the wider middle-area of the bag. So I tried that... and then it was too full to close. So basically, it's too short to fit a toothbrush, and the volume is so diminished by the super-neat dry bag-style closure that even if you put more than three or four tiny travel-sized things in it, you're in a bit of a pickle. So you can either carry those stupid folding toothbrushes that people think people who travel use, or you can use the head of an electric toothbrush like you're living off of a bicycle, or you can use your miter saw to trim a toothbrush to half-size... or you can just get a "toiletry case" designed for function over form. I'm just glad REI has a one-year return policy, and next time I'm anywhere near one, I'll be sure to have this with me. I wanted to like it - it was the coolest one I saw, and the roll-top closure is pretty sweet - but having a toiletry case that can't fit a toothbrush is laughable. Better off using one of those snack-sized ziplocs.
