How to Choose Bike Racks and Bags

Offering stowage for bikes with limited main triangle space, the 4 L Ortlieb Top Tube pack mounts above the frame. It's also ideal for riders who like to carry their bottles inside the main triangle.

I was excited to get this bag on sale during the Labor Day Sale. The excitement was muted by the straps taking me forever to figure out. The instructions are no help at all. I searched YouTube and found everyone feels this way. One guy said "The straps are not intuitive." Yes. That certainly summarizes it. Of course the bag itself is what you would expect from Ortlieb, excellent. The zipper is also burly, but perhaps a little dangerous for the bag contents. I want my rain gear to ride in this bag all the time but I may have to rethink that since the zipper has snagged the rain gear every time I opened and closed it. I can put the rain gear somewhere else and fill this bag with things I don't have to worry about though.
Not easy to open on the go, but significantly better than the previous roll-up version. It’s likely due to the over-engineered zipper being a bit more robust than the average water proof-zipper. I dig it. Looking to match it with the cock-pit bag for that on the go access.
Solid bag, 6L fit my bike and needs better so I returned this one. Would recommend save some $ and considering Evoc and Rockbros alternatives if you only need 0.8-1.5L capacity.
