New favorite stout all-rounders

After finding a pair of TEVA hiking boots and liking them, I was excited to try the low-tops as an all-around hiking/walking/travel shoe. I put these to the test May-July this year and they provided a stable platform for for everything I threw at them: City walks, rocky hikes; recreational, light touring, and downhill (park) mountain biking; light bouldering. Good for everything except maybe driving (as they are quite chunky and can interfere with pedals) and as low top maybe taking in more rocks and sand than a full boot (duh). Did not test waterproofness too hard but membrane is adequately breathable. Sole is 8/10 grippy which is optimal for all-rounder. They are stout and stable- neither minimal nor at all “squishy” which concerned me before they arrived.

Great design with solid features

I am pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoy these new all-wthr kicks. Nice work TEVA on the new design... It delivers on all my needs: solid foundation, waterproof, grippy Vibram soles, wide toe box, look cool and super comfy.

Great Shoes from Teva

These will probably be my favorite pair of shoes, really in ever, for quite a while. I'm certain these will great for all-around wear, and I look forward to hiking in these shoes. The design is comfortable, sturdy, and breathable in the foot area. Using mostly a conventional lacing style, the lacing-through parts are of a good quality, and reinforced for wear. The toe cup is a great shape, with an internal material holding the shoe to not lay directly on the toes — kind of breathable in a sense. The heel area holds well, in its accommodating shape and construction. The sizing is great. The tread surface on the outer sole is impressive, nearly reminding of other forms of transportation. I appreciate that another review had mentioned how roomy the toe area is. For getting to the trail on other than four wheels, these will be going into the Osprey pack, lol. A well-thought-out design, in a comfortable pair of shoes.

Tight fit but nice hiking shoe

Tighter than usual but they are loosening up gradually as I wear them. I wear a size 9 D width and usually don’t have any problems with fit. They do seem to be pretty waterproof and they have a very unique sole and tread pattern with good grip.
