Second pair and Made in the USA
The last pair of these I bought over 7 years ago and found them again. The first pair has survived two trips to Burning Man. I love that they are made in USA and very comfortable. They might seem expensive but your supporting American workers and companies.
Great Sock for backpacking, holds up well
These are my favorite socks for hiking and backpacking. They hold their form, stay tight, and don't give me blisters when my feet sweat on long hikes. They hold up so well, give them a quick rinse in the lake, let them dry overnight, and they are ready for wear again the next day. I love these socks and they give me piece of mind knowing I don't need to bring 10 pair to constantly change. These are my go to sock now, I don't even shop around. A bit pricey for everyday wear. But if you are a distance hiker or backpacker, these are a must have.
Mostly all I buy
Good socks. Fit well as long as you stretch them out before putting on.
Best Socks I Have Ever Owned!
Great summer sock. Lightweight and breathable.
Sizing fail
Quality is okay, but I would not suggest this sock if your foot is on the larger size of the size spectrum. I wear 11-11 1/2 and after few washes they are impossible to wear, uncomfortably tight, especially in the extensor area of the foot.
Darn Tough Socks help my foot problems.
All great for my boots which I have to wear even in the summer. They are padded which helps with my foot pain.
comfortable and durable
Go on your feet, comfortable and durable, don't stink.
Very comfortable, durable & no blisters
These are my first wool hiking socks. They have performed better than any other sock I have used. They are comfortable and I have not had a single blister after 100+ miles of hiking since purchase. My feet do not overheat even on long hikes (11 miles, 2000 ft elevation gain) in 80 degree weather, yet stay surprisingly warm on shorter hikes in light rain at mid 50's temperature. So far, they show no wear and have been very durable.
Nearly odorless!
Long wearing and nearly odorless . I have been wearing Darn Tough for over ten years and am still amazed that I can wear the same pair five consecutive eight hour days and they have nearly no odor. Last week I hiked 13 consecutive miles and again no odor from the socks. Love them! Usually I buy a size smaller than their size chart suggests because I find they fit more snug around my heel.
