Good for indoors, not for hiking
Very comfortable, good for yoga or relaxing inside or running errands. But I mostly wanted them for hiking and they're not good for outdoor wear. I have worn them about a half dozen times on easy to moderate hikes. The fabric catches on rocks and any surface that is even a little rough, making it difficult to sit down without damaging the pants. And, they are as water resistant as a paper towel, i.e., not at all. The stitching on one seam is coming loose. They do dry very quickly though.
Wonderful pants - ordering a second pair
I bought a pair to having something light and comfortable to wear after summer hikes. I am now wearing this one pair to provide care to COVID patients during an outbreak among residents with dementia. They are light and comfortable under the PPE, and they fit beautifully. I went to REI to get another pair (none at that particular store), tried on other brands of similar pants, but none fit as well and attractively as these. So I am ordering online. I echo the request for more colors!
Best Pants
Most comfortable pants I have ever owned. They are perfect for travel days or hiking. The zippered pockets are perfect for cell phone, keys, or your passport. The fabric is fitting, but stretches for comfort. The material is thin enough not to over heat on summer days, but warm enough for cooler weather. I liked them so much, I ordered two more pairs.
Versitile hiking pants!
I absolutely love these pants and have 3 pairs! I'm 5'9 so I get the long inseam. I've used them for hiking, casual wear and even working as a groomer. Semi waterproof, breathable and quick to dry!

Comes as “tall.”
I ordered these and the tall version arrived. I went to the physical store to exchange the mistake and they said it only comes in tall even though it doesn’t state that. Confusing… anyway, beware, they mean tall! Ordering from Prana directly.
Prana drastically changed their sizing
Sadly, I will no longer be buying any clothing from Prana. I am the same size I've always been and for many years fit nicely into Prana XS. The last few times I've tried to buy Prana XS, the clothing is big, fitting more like a medium. It's too bad that Prana just can't keep XS as an actual XS and add larger sizes for women with more curves. There are plenty of women out there that are my size, especially athletic women, which is who Prana is supposedly designing for. Prana is losing a large pool of customers by no longer making XS clothing.
What a discovery!
These pants, at least the way they fit me, are INSANELY comfortable. They're also amazing for travel as they roll up nice and small for packing and then unroll looking fine. In fact, I can go so far as to say they're flattering. (I was surprised and disappointed to discover that one of the two pocket zippers didn't function, but my bad for buying right before a big trip, leaving no time to exchange them...)
One step toward pocket adequacy
Finally zip pockets that mens pants have had for years. Wish it had cargo/side zip pockets like mens pants; it’s 2022!
