Excellent breezy boxers, nice color palette, very comfortable and durable. They run large so a XXL is more like a XXXL but still works. They are very stretchy so if you're off a size they'll still work. Much more robust than more expensive and pricey brands seen on these pages. A really pleasant under garment in every way. Don't me afraid to try these non-itchy synthetic undergarments.
I’ve been wearing REI Co-op Everyday Boxers since 2015. Through several changes in design, I think REI finally landed on a winner. The Wider waistband is similar to the prior “mountain” waistband. They run wide in thigh, but that’s no problem fie me. I’m 6 feet 185 lbs wear a large. The only drawback is the lack of colors.
The feel of this boxers is excellent. The stretch is superb and just the right amount. They have a great length and even the seams are well designed so as not to feel them when sitting or traversing. The 2 gripes I have is that the hip is slightly snug and you can feel them pull just a tad. Could just need to size up one. And the waist band, although feels good, is very…tall compared to other boxers I have. I say this because it can bend and fold over when bending down to the ground and then flips back when standing back up. May just be a personal preference, but that’s it. Other than that, the look and feel of these boxers is great and would highly recommend.
Bring back the old versions of these boxers. These run big in the waist and wider throughout. Old version had better styling without the Co-Op branding.
The old ones with the mountain range design on the band and the more breathable better fitting material
These run super large. I bought medium and they are unusable for me. Last version of REI co-op boxers were amazing, and that’s what I really wanted when I purchased these. I should’ve looked at the size chart and REI should’ve stuck with what they had. Regardless of the fit, the fabric is less desirable than before.
Please go back to the style you had a couple of years ago. The ones that had the mountain range across the band. Those were the most comfortable boxers I have ever worn. All I ever see now is Boxer briefs in the stores and I can't stand Boxer briefs. They were my go to. Please bring those back.
I’ve been a member with REI for around 20 years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen them go down in quality. Usually they are committed to always improving their product. The last set of boxers with the mountain range waist band were darn near perfection. I honestly can’t imagine a pair of boxers being any better. REI please go back!
Fit loosely, run larger. Not as breathable of fabric as in the years past
Not too tight, and super soft. I’m particularly and found this perfect for my athletic legs after I realized boxer briefs just don’t let me breath.
