Relief for sore feet
The footbed is extremely comfortable. I was having mild heel and metatarsal pain using T☆☆a sandals, but my feet are pain free in these. Even my toes feel free-er. I have slightly narrow and very thin feet (no padding under my joints). The strap system keeps my feet secure up and down hills without any slippage. I wrap the extra strap material outside the strap, then run it up behind my ankle bone, and tuck the end under the buckle. The tread sticks to moderately wet slopes- the true test will be on bone dry, loose decomposed granite hills this summer.

Disappointed - No longer has a Vibram sole
I have had many Chacos over the years and LOVE them including both the Classic and the Cloud. My physical therapist has approved them for body alignment which is extremely important for me. They have always had Vibram soles until now. I loved the weight and support of the Vibram sole. Chaco is now under new ownership and they have gone with a different sole. I tried the new version of the Cloud/z and it did not make the cut anymore. I will try the Classic and see if it makes a difference. I hope it does as I would hate to have to look for a new sandal. Chaco has never let me down until now.

Highly Recommend!

These sandals are incredibly comfortable and perfect for the outdoors. I purchased them for my trip to Hawaii and they did not need any breaking in or use before jumping right into them.

Chaco Z/Cloud

My first pair of Chaco sandals - really love these - super comfortable and in great condition still after several months of daily wear.

Love these!

I've been wearing chacos for ages now, but these are my first with the back strap. I was so disappointed not to be able to find the slides I've worn for ages - 3 pairs over the years, each worn until they fell apart - and reluctantly ordered these. They were so comfortable and easy to adjust, I'm sold. I wore them probably close to 15 hours the first day, on my feet for most of that, and didn't have a single hot spot or blister. I'd highly recommend them!

Good support, good grip, and comfortable

Great arch support. Good grip. Strap around ankle is too long for flatter feet, have to tuck it through the back. Easy to adjust straps for improved fit. Heavier than some sandals, great for hiking and travel.

Not for everyone

I have low volume feet and these just didn't work out for my feet. I liked the color and hoped these would work out
