Used to be a Salomon fanatic but now Adidas wins
Yes , I recommend this product
I wore Salomon GTX shoes for years and loved them. Then, I tried a pair of these hiking shoes and have not looked back. The Adidas look better for casual wear and hold up well with travel over cobble stones, light hiking and rain. These are my go to travel shoes, great to wear on the plane as I can easily put them on when visiting the rest room - dont have to worry about laces. As other reviewers have said, they are a bit stiff but I am OK with this. Toe box is wide, heel is nice a narrow for female foot. I wear a 8.5 in Salomon and an 8.5 in Adidas. True to size.

Durable shoe for enjoyable hikes

Loved this shoe for as frequent as I go hiking. They are waterproof and have a solid toe, with enough flex in the sole for long hikes. The lacing system is easy and found to have more slack on the laces than needed. I would purchase again.

NOT a Men’s Shoe
No, I do not recommend this product
I bought these shoes last week and I received them and they were extremely small for my foot. I was trying to figure out why and then I discovered that this particular color in this model shoe is a WOMEN’s shoe. REI has the wrong shoe listed for Men on their website. Yes Adidas does make this model shoe in a Men’s BUT not in this color....this is woman’s shoe. REI please fix this problem so no other buyers make this mistake.

This is the best multipurpose trail runner that I’ve tried. It’s waterproof, awesome for rainy trails or just going for a walk around my neighborhood. This is my go-to, favorite pair of sneakers that I own. Please restock so I can get a new pair!!!
