Very comfy

Oh I love this shirt ! I got the purple one and it’s so pretty and bright . I used this both on hot day and cold rainy day and both times was comfortable and the shirt dried fast and never got stinky or gross . I’m 5’4 160 not big in my chest and got a medium and it fit perfect with my sports bra and never felt too tight . I’d definitely buy this again . The first time it felt little itchy because of the wool but once I washed it I didn’t notice it again

Yes , I recommend this product

The best I could find; Room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The micro stripe pattern seems to make this model slightly less scratchy over the solid 150s model. I hope we haven't yet reached the limit of softness from merino. This model might be tolerable for me but barely. This blue is nice, but I'd love more interesting, subdued colors (not gray and not hot pink or bright turquoise). Icebreaker has some nice colors and designs, but I find their tops scratchier still. Finally, in long and short sleeve models, I'd also like the collar to come a little higher without being suffocating or without any shape. I prefer to keep the sun off my upper chest.

Yes, I will buy this product again in the near future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this layer for hiking and paddling both in the mountains and at sea level. I have purchased a second 150 base layer in black. I love how soft the wool is compared to other manufacturers. Love the striped pattern and color options. Compared to capilene wool outperforms by providing wicking and warming qualities without the stink!

Great lightweight layer

I am 5'2", 125 lbs, slim upper body and purchased a small. It's form fitting but not skin tight. My only issue is the fit along the arms. It's unusually loose all the way from the under arm to wrists. It's not ill-fitting enough for me to return but I would've much rather had a snugger fit along the arms. I think the XS would've been too short in length and at the wrists for my liking. I was also debating getting another 250 top because they fit so nicely but opted for the 150 as the 250 layer can get a little hot. So if this shirt fit like the 250, it would be PERFECT! However, I think this top will be really versatile as a casual layer in the winter and nice for summer ascents when it gets cold on the side of the mountain. I'm excited to throw this puppy on!

Must have for my backpacking kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this merino wool sweater. It looks flattering and fits beautifully. I've been wearing it as a sweater out and get plenty of compliments. It is the perfect weight for hiking outdoors in the colder Northern California months, simultaneously keeping me warm while not retaining too much heat. The fabric still smells good after multiple consecutive days backpacking in the backcountry. I will definitely buy this shirt again in other colors! Definitely worth the price. #sweepstakes

Base layer shirts rock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Central CA and wear my Base Layer shirts every day. The temperature can go from morning cold to warm afternoons. I am extremely comfortable during these months while walking in the early morning or just resting at home. It almost feels like a natural extra layer on your body! I recently recommended 3 friends to order base layer shirts and they too LOVE them. Oh and the neckline for women fits so great. No tightness around the neck and a nice lower scoop neck . Perfecto❤️

More colors please, love the fit and comfort!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 4 tops two 150's and two 250's one with 1/2 zip. I love them all! The 150's can be used actually for 3 seasons here in California. The 250's for fall and winter. All are soft and comfortable, no itching or allergies with wool. They wash easy. I would like more colors to be offered. I highly recommend these tops. Lord willing will have the opportunity to buy more and some of your socks. I actually felt them at Dick's Sporting Goods super soft thick and well made.

New style?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wear these all the time. However, I feel like the new ones are cut different. I have the same shirt from 2021 and it has a more fluid fit. What's nice about the old fit is it doesn't cling which is important in the hot Florida sun...yes, I wear my old smartwool shirt during the summer. Customer service suggested I purchase a size up if it felt too clingy, not sure yet. But I do wear the new clingier version during the winter.

I want more than one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this shirt! I've always been skeptical of running in long sleeves when it's hot out because of how hot I get when exercising, but this shirt completely changed my mind. It kept me cool on a 5-hour hike/run in high 80-degree temps while wearing a backpack, and kept me warm on a cooler hike in the mountains. You can tell it's made of quality material and that it will hold up. Great product, love the color too!
