overall I like it
Mostly use this as a mid-layer when I go out running in almost single digit degree Celsius weather. I love the fit and how it zips up and covers a bit of my neck to keep me warm. Only thing I would have liked is having a tiny pocket with a zip so that I could put my car key and a couple of tissues inside.
A delightful surprise
Well, I got a copy to wear and test while hiking up some 14ers. It passed the test! I commonly sweat A LOT and your usual so- called technical shirt just doesn't work for me. The wool base layer seems to do the job. I am looking forward to testing its use while running in cool and cold weather.
Soft and comfortable
Some base layers you can wear on its own, this is not that type of shirt, plan on wearing a mid layer or shirt over this. The material is too thin.
Not what it used to be
I liked this better when it had 56% wool and thumbholes... please bring it back. I will wait for that to return before i buy anymore.
Versatile Tee
Bought this for my husband because he loves Smartwool products. It's supposed to be a base layer, but he wears it as a top layer too.
Not worth the price.
I like the weight of the shirt. But it does not live up to the hype. Does not breathe well or suppress odors.
