Never Going Back to Normal Bindings
I've had my eye on Burton's Step On bindings for a few seasons now and finally decided to bite the bullet this season. I've used these twice so far and will never go back. It is so convenient to not have to bend over to strap in or to have to ratchet down my bindings. It takes all of three seconds to step in and the bindings feel is consistent every time. Plus, these bindings are way more responsive than any traditional bindings, especially on the toe edge. My only criticism is that the toe clips on the side of the bindings make a clicking sound as my feet shift while riding. At first the sound was slightly concerning but after reading other Step On reviews, apparently this is a known issue, especially when its cold. I've only ridden in sub 20 degree weather so I think is just going to be the norm? Despite the clicking sound, I have never felt as though my foot was going to come out. Given the particular motion required to leave the binding after you release the heel clips, I am fully confident in the side toe clips. I've ridden these on an icy day and in a couple inches of snow and have had no issues with clipping in properly. A few pieces of advice that I was given when I started using these that I thought I would share: 1) As you learn to clip in, the easiest sequence is heel, pinky toe, big toe. 2) The boots tend to loosen up a little more than normal boots do while riding so be prepared to tighten the boots a few times while riding. 3) Always make sure that your pants are securely in the clip. If your pants get stuck in the heel clips, it's almost impossible to get out. TLDR: These bindings are incredible and all snowboarders should ride with Step Ons.

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Damaged bindings sold as new and there is clearly wear where someone used them and returned them. I honestly don’t even know how this was allowed!
