I have been wearing the Pegasus Turbo for the past year and, while I love them for runs of 6 miles or less, I struggle with foot numbness on longer runs. I have had zero issues with foot pain or numbness with the Infinity. They are light and very responsive. The wider base is perfect for long runs. I wore them through snow/slush and mud on a typical Michigan winter run and they easily wiped clean. I usually wear a 8.5 in a regular shoe and a 9 in a run shoe (I have a very wide foot). I bought these in a 9 and they fit perfect. I was initially worried that they may be too tight when I tried them on, but they were fine once I started running.
I got these for distance and recovery runs. Nike claims these shoes are designed to keep from injury. I felt that today as I had a quick reaction to a tree branch ahead of me that I did not see until last second. I was able to dodge the branch that thru me off stride, however, I quickly recovered back to a good stride and pace. I do feel these shoes live up to their description. I would recommend. ( They are not for speed, but they are great for long distance, with a secure fit, true to size,) My first run was 10 miles, I could of easily kept on going. These are shoes I plan on using for marathon training with long distance runs every week.
I originally ordered a 7 in these, as I was previously running in a size 7 of an older Flynit model. The 7s turned out to be too small, so I then exchanged for a 7.5. It feels right length wise but still really uncomfortably tight. I cant figure out the issue, because I actually have VERYY narrow feet and the other Nikes I had previously were also narrow. I thought maybe I just had to break them in, but after having them for a few months now they haven't gotten any more comfortable. Just lots of pressure on the side of my feet. Super bummer because I spent a LONG time deciding on a new running shoe (and this has such great reviews!) and now I'm stuck with these!
This is the 3rd version of Reacts for me. I typically love them but not this version. I have slightly narrow feet and love the tighter feel these have around the foot and toe. Every few years I try the Pegasus again and end up hating how loose they feel around the toe in comparison. I don’t love the heel of this version - it feels too unstructured so I don’t think I needed to size up. Also don’t love the new forefoot. It feels very wide on the inner side of the forefoot and since I already supinate, these seemed to make that worse. Might be fine if you don’t have that issue. Too many things I’m not crazy about with these to keep. Fingers crossed for the next version!
Totally love the way these shoes look but unfortunately do not wear them after I realized they produce a really loud “squeak” each time I take a step. Tried to break them in on a 15 mile run and thought it would solve the problem but it got louder. They feel amazing but I do not think I will wear these anymore due to that issue, which is unfortunate since I got them customized. The material in some of the spots isn’t flush and is really wavy and there is a parent glue traces along where the sole meets fabric. They are the best looking running shoes I have I’ll never wear again. Heartbroken!
I bought these shoes because I was intrigued by the concept of injury free. I’ve had three knee surgeries and two of which were ACL reconstructions. I’m a casual runner at best but I don’t like when I get a lot of knee pain due to the high impact on a treadmill. I’ll have to say I’m super impressed with these shoes, by the time I finished I felt no knee pain at all. I usually wear a 7.5 and when I put them on I was really pleased by the large tow box, I have wide feet and usually have to squish into Nikes. Super comfortable and highly recommend to people who have knee issues like I do!
These shoes are super cute with a lot of cushion but unfortunately fit more snug than I would like. They also fit much more tighter in one heel than another and I was afraid they wouldn't stretch too much so I ended up returning them. The rubber stripe was also more vibrant in person than in the pictures.
First, I love these shoes! I have two exact pairs (the white/pink/orange and also the purple/gold/black). They provide much needed support and are very comfortable. I take a 30-40 minute brisk/power walk with my dog daily. I do have a problem though and I’m hoping Nike can help. The first week that I wore the white ones the left shoe began squeaking when I walk. It is really annoying. The right shoe doesn’t do it and neither do the purple pair. I was hoping it would get better but it hasn’t so I’m pretty disappointed with them as I had fallen in love with the styling and comfort.
I’ll be honest I haven’t worn Nike shoes for running for the last 5 yrs. Infinity’s peaked my interest because of the injury free advertisement and gave them a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the fit and almost comfortable fit. I say almost because they rub in the back of the ankle, they have a very high and stiff collar. You have to wear crew socks with these shoes so they don’t rub, but then they don’t look very stylish anymore. Suggest they adding a softer ankle collar and not so high on the ankle. Compared to my other brand of shoes, I do find them supportive. I also like the fly knit has structure not just cloth. I would also like to see them in colors like you offer for the men, specifically red.
I have been a Brooks/Mizuno runner forever. However, I keep having ankle issues and looked for something with a wider heel base for stability. I've only ever worn Nikes for fashion, but these Infinity React Flyknits have converted me! The sole of the heel is wider than normal, letting me strike on a wider base, but the shoe is constructed of super light materials, making it feather light. The knit upper keeps my feet cool and the material stretches perfectly to mold to my foot so that it feels like wearing a light weight glove instead of a clunky shoe. LOVE THIS SHOE!
