Very light and waterproof

As a full-time mountain guide and ski guide I spend a lot of time in the backcountry in the winter. A comfortable and practical pant is crucial. These pant/bibs are incredibly light yet fully waterproof. I am 5.3 and 120 lbs with an athletic fit. Hips are 38" and waist 28". I got a size small in a short. The length is perfect and the hips and waist pretty good providing I layer underneath. The upper legs are a bit big, which is nice when layering and filling the pockets with stuff. The lower legs are quite large and they fit over a ski boot no problem but are a tad floppy around the ankles. They would definitely fit over a snowboard boot. The waist is high so no snow will creep in after a powder tumble. The high waist is also nice as there is no bunching of material when bending over or when skinning uphill. The suspenders are fixed and sits to the side so they do not interfere with the chest. The adjustment is easy but the sliding buckles end up sitting right under the backpack straps so a bit uncomfortable. The full side zips are easy to use and I found the drop seat to be practical. The front zip is pretty long and works well when using a funnel. The hand pockets are ok but not ideal for me. The left one has a transceiver slot that is big enough for a Mammut Pulse, but the location of the transceiver slot is a bit too high and its pretty uncomfortable when skinning uphill as it digs into the leg. The right pocket is big enough for a Rite in the Rain blue book but as with the transceiver, the book sits too high and it is uncomfortable when skinning or working with snow pits. Either pocket is best suitable as hand warmer pockets or for small items. The pants do not work well with a harness as one could not unzip the rear for the needed break and the leg loops would go right over the pockets. This pant/bib is ideal for resort skiing/riding, for sidecountry and for backcountry skiing/riding when the weather is inclement and GoreTex is preferred. I recommend wearing the transceiver around the torso instead of using the pocket

Size runs large. I took my measurements and ordered accordingly. If you are on the short side, these do not come in shorter inseams/ petite lengths. If you are of average height and need extra for thighs and waist, these bib pants are for you! They are of good quality, a great product with all the design details. Just giving you the heads up! in between sizes :(

The material feels high quality and I love that it is so lightweight (at only ~535 grams), this would be perfect for ski touring. Another perk is that there’s zips in the back on both left and right sides for ease of using the bathroom. Sadly, I am between the size medium and size large so I don’t think it will work out for me. I’m 5’8”, 155 lbs. The button at the bellybutton area is threatening to burst open in the size medium when I squat. But the size large is comically gaping in the back/butt area (see photos). The legs fit well in both sizes which is nice because I have thicker thighs.

Note that these are a UNISEX cut, NOT a women's-specific pant

It's hard to find good quality ski pants for women. I ordered a set of these for work (ski guide), thinking that they'd be designed for a womens shape... I ordered a Womens L, and was sent a Unisex M/L. They are ridiculously baggy and especially loose around the waist and bum. Unfortunately I desperately needed some pants for work in a remote area with no chance of picking up another pair... so had to wear them rather than returning them.

I love these pants!

These are so light and comfortable; they are by far my favorite ski pants I've ever worn! The fit is perfect but they are still loose enough that there isn't any movement restriction. The lightweight material makes it hard to believe I'm actually wearing ski pants, but the high tech GORE-TEX fabric keeps me dry and comfortable.

Great cut, weird sheen

Almost worked, loved the cut where the bib comes partway up the back allowing more breathability. Material has 0 stretch to it so unfortunately it didn't work out. The photos do not show how much of a weird sheen there is to this. Its like a grid sheen not a solid black.

Efficient!!

This product is not only comfortable but also makes life as a female easier. The zips on the side make it simple to use the restroom with all your gear on without having to go through the trouble of taking off a lot. I am very happy with this and glad I chose it

Pros and Cons

I’m a size medium or large usually but I read one of these reviews that said to size down because it’s unisex sizes, so I got a small with long length and they fit great! I really don’t like the material though. It’s paper thin and a grid pattern.

Snow bibs made for everything

Bought these for my wife, 5'3" 120lbs. The Size Medium fit her perfectly. She wears them for everything from daily walks, to skiing. She's said nothing but great things about them, and so I have to go with, she really likes them.

Not Bad for the Right Person

Super comfy bibs but they were pretty short and didn’t seem like they’d be very warm. I am from Montana so will need some more insulation than these would provide. I returned them and kept the Cloud Bank Insulated Gor-Tex Pant.
