Perfect all weather workout pants
I was looking for light windproof soft shell pants for running, biking, and climbing. I am 5'10" 165#, 31" waist 32" inseam, and size medium fits me perfectly. I literally wear them everyday. Only issue is they are a little too warm for runs and bike rides when temps are in the 50s. Great for chilly days at the crag and mornings in the climbing gym. As we get later into the Fall and Winter, these will be full time bike and run pants. I read reviews that the pants "swish" a lot and are loud when walking. I don't really experience that. Side pockets work great for holding phone.

Not quite warm enough for snow
I am intrigued by the other reviews for the Wind Shield pants. I got these to replace my Sporthill cross country ski pants after 20 years. Here in Colorado the "wind shield" name and reviews about snow sports use were enticing. Just returned from an hour walk on a cloudy 51 degree day with 5-7mph wind. 1) Wind blocking ability: I did not detect anything beyond what any poly tight would offer. 2) Temp rating: No way would I venture out with these on under 45 degrees...unless you wear other layers. 3) Pockets: Who thought it was a great idea to NOT put zipper pockets? These aren't billed for lounge wear...I get you're trying to save $ maybe but I expect reliable performance as a higher priority. I am returning them immediately and going back to the old Sporthill's...not ever as cool as Patagonia, but they function better for the uses and temp rating I'm looking for.

Very comfortable and lightweight.

Amazing pair of paints. Certainly not an inexpensive pair of pants. Ridiculously comfortable. Very lightweight. Block ALL wind, which is exactly why I purchased these pants. Need to keep my warm on cold and windy days. I’ve found myself wearing these pants day after day because they’re so comfortable.

Great fall and spring runners/walkers

Wonderful cool-cold weather gear. Very light and comfortable. Breathes surprisingly well but, effectively blocks the wind to maintain a good balance of warmth. I have used in the 30-40 degree range. Nicely tailored for aerobic activities. I have not worn off trail, as I am reluctant to test how it does with snags. I wasn’t initially favoring the two hip pockets but, they have won me over. My phone and key fob seem to stay in place. Have owned for 2 months -I cannot attest to durability.

Worht every penny.

I was looking for pants perfect to block the wind while jogging by the river. These are so good. I do wear them with a regular leggings underneath for more warmth.

perfect for the ADV rider

Been looking for a liner pant that I could wear under motorcycle armored pants for warmth and wind protection and these are perfect! the best part? I can take off the armored pants and walk around camp in these as they function like joggers.

Great, great pants

I bought these pants when they were on sales in August (90 degrees outside). I was so excited to get them and how soft they feel that I ran up and down the stairs in the house. As noted through Patagonia, they are a slim fit but they are also not too tight. I couldn't test yet how they protect against cold weather but they definitely stretch, feel super comfortable and have areas through which extra heat can escape.

Very comfortable, Ok on warmth, noisy while walkin

The brushed interior is instantly a luxury comfort. the outside feels durable and resilient. These pants stretch and move with you very well. I still wore a base layer underneath for a hike in high 20s and my thighs were still chilled, but they do a decent job of keeping you warm overall and keeping the wind out. They are noisy though! Not terribly, but noticeably.
