Poor quality and poor durability
Purchased this Smartwool half zip before Thanksgiving. Wore it for the holiday and maybe five times since. Washed it according to the instructions. Now so covered with piling that I can’t wear it outside the house. I have two other Smartwool quarter zip sweaters that have held up very well. I would avoid this one.
Looked good at first but rapidly digressed
I am so upset with this sweater as I thought Smartwool made good quality clothing ....this sweater is already pilling and looks as if my husband has worn it for years. Never again will I buy a Smartwool sweater....very disappointed.
Seems of low quality
Sweater is very thin and seems very fragile. Also, the size indicators are on the small side. I do not not think this sweater will hold-up more than a few years, not the 10 plus years that used to occur.
Beautiful sweater
I bought the camel XL for my husband. This is a great lightweight layer and he has worn it several times. He is 6' 2", 190 lb. The XL is a little big in the body, but the sleeve and body length are just right.

For Oregon, nothing beats Smartwool. This sweater is one of my favorite.

I got one, planning to use it for work and business travel. Was so comfortable and good-looking, I bought another one in a different color.
Gorgeous sweater
This sweater is incredibly soft, light, and warm. The collar really toes the line between dressy enough for work and casual enough to just hang out and chill. I haven't tried laundering it yet, so I don't know how much it will shrink. The length seems generous enough that it should not be a problem if handled according to the instructions. This sweater is exactly what I wanted.
Great sweater!
Bought this for my husband - it's a nice weight, looks and fits great, feels soft and warm without being too warm. Overall, a nice sweater and the tan color goes with everything - jeans and nicer pants!
Beautiful - but poor fitting 6
This sweater (in an XL) is surprisingly boxy. It definitely is not an athletic cut. Also, I am 6'4, and this was entirely too long in the body.

Excellent fit - very comfortable. I’m a 42” chest, the Large fit as advertised.
