Don’t purchase
For a $100 saddle I thought it would be molded and not stapled. The picture on REI’s website looks completely different (molded) than the item I received (cheap and stapled! I feel like I got bait and switched or purchased from TEMU! Terrible by both brands that are supposed to be top of the line!
Very cheaply made
The saddle costs $100 and is STAPLED!? Not ok. Especially since the picture on the REI website doesn’t show the staples. Any reputable, solid MTB saddle, should be molded as shown in the highly deceiving photos REI has on their website. REI and Ergon are supposed to be legit, not this time!
Ergon Men's SM Enduro Comp Saddle
Been MTB'ing for over 20yrs. Ride 100 miles per month. This is the 1st seat I've used that does not require a padded liner under my shorts!! Sides are to grippy and snag on shorts. Covered that area up with tape, no more issues. Lower model does not have the grip area on sides. Save the $ and get that model.
Great Seat!
The factory seat on my gravel bike became fairly uncomfortable after 5 or so miles - the Ergon was highly recommended by long-distance endurance cyclist, and they were correct! 30, 40, 50 miles and my rear end feels just fine.
Helped avoid going numb.
Got this to help with the numbness I was getting on longer rides after seeing good reviews. So far it has helped but did have a tiny bit of numbess on a long sit down ride recently. So more time will tell but certainly better so far!
comfortable
I ride a Giant mtb and I was riding it with the stock seat. Super uncomfortable. I’ve been using this one for a bit and it is a HUGE improvement. Absolutely recommend, just make sure to get the right size.
Comfortable!
I have tried many saddles throughout the years. I finally found tried this one and it has been very comfortable. I would highly recommend it.
Great seat
Very comfortable and versatile seat. Material isn’t as grippy as their or Sm seat which is good so my shorts stay in place
