Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO/TR SK Tire - 29 x 2.4
With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, the Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO/TR SK tire is wider to provide support while the center tread's ramped leading edges improve acceleration.
- Sipes create a smooth transition when leaning the bike
- Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control
- Pair it with a Minion DHF up front for the ultimate aggressive trail riding tire combo
- Wide trail (WT) casing specs are optimized for 30–35 mm inner width rims
- Tanwall casing makes the tire light, smooth-rolling and fast
- Note: Maxxis updated the color name to Tanwall to be more accurate and inclusive; the old color name may still appear on this page but rest assured this is the Tanwall product
- Note: Tire images shown may not reflect size/color/material options available on this page

Great Product
I was confused when the reviews said they didn't know it was tan when the picture given, IS TAN. Stop being such a baby and use the eyes you apparently don't have.
bikepacker approved
great buy... obviously says skinwall as color and tan in pics. you get a tan tire wall. duh. frankly more of a reason to buy. looks dope one tan in back and black up front. says "I know mountain bikes"
Does not match picture or description
Waited 1 month to receive and when it came it was the tan sidewalls which is not what I want or described. This is a great tire though. Just need the right color now...
Weak
Not the strongest tires. I do some kind of aggressive trail riding and some DH riding. These tires have failed on even the trail terrains. Sidewall tears are the most common. I will no longer buy these tires. I have had 3 fail the same way.
Tan Sidewalls
As another reviewer noted, I had this tire on backorder for some time then when I received it I was shocked to see it was the tan sidewall version, which did not match the description.
