Exceptional shirt, soft, light, moves well
I received this shirt as part of a promotion to test in my daily life and activities. I tested this shirt for over 3 weeks. To give it a good "thrashing," here are some activity example from the three weeks: - Wore it for 24 hours out of the box - Washed it (normal cycle, air dry) - Trail ran 20K - Wore it for 3 days straight, only taking it off to shower (daily): -- Ran 4.7K -- Snowshoes 6.9k -- Hiked 16k with it The shirt held up exceptionally well. For running, it was somewhat long, I'm 6'2"/proportionate and it covered half my backside. Although that was not uncomfortable, for trail running I do prefer shorter shirts overall (personal preference). For snowshoeing and hiking in the Rockies this was very helpful. The extra length and snug fit kept me both from overheating and getting cold. It also prevented my midlayer from getting sweaty and my pack did not pull the shirt out of my pants as has happened in the past. -- Keep in mind, this is a runners brand, and I used it more broadly with positive experiences. The fit was tailored, very tight to the body, yet I could not "feel" the shirt during any of my activities. You can see that in one of the images, one side is almost twice as wide as the other which supported the exceptional range of the shirt. The seams are well-made, flat, and did not cause any friction, even during longer runs. Compared to other brand-name running shirts I own, I would rate the materials as much higher quality, softer, and more flexible than what I use in my day-to-day activities. (I hike or run 5+k daily.) Keep in mind, for short runs, any of my shirts will do. If I were a marathon or Ultra/100K runner, these may well be my go-to choice. I max out (by choice) at 10-15k. Definitely can see how the material and seams here can support long distance running or even hot/humid weather runs very nicely. What I was not able to find was the eco-friendly aspect of the brand. This personally is important to me and a quick search and browsing the website did not reveal that information. In times of micro plastic discussions, that's just something for me to consider. What did I like about the shirt Pros - Exceptional flow while working out, running, and engaging the outdoors - Soft materials, consistent, and well-made seams that did not chafe on a run or with a pack - Tailoring hugged the body nicely - Quick drying - Charcoal grey color and heathered design - Great long distance running shirt, hands down Cons - Body odor did not completely wash out with an anti-sport's odor laundry detergent (faint smell remained) after my first long run (the smell did eventually go away after more washing) - Pilling around the collar (see image) after 24 hours was surprising. I did not expect that at this price range. And, I have soft hair not coarse.
Great for my trail runs
The first thing I noticed is the smooth silky soft fabric of this shirt. It feels great! It's also lightweight, strechy, and very quick drying. It works great for runs in warmer weather but I found it comfortable and warm enough for my spring trail runs in the 50F degree (often wet) Pacific NW. For colder conditions, I would prefer long sleeves. Compared to capilene, the rabbit EZ shirt is less chaffing and better at odor control. The shirt was so comfortable, I started wearing it all the time.
Super soft; doesn’t retain moisture
The first thing you’ll notice about this shirt as opposed to other running shirts is how soft it is. It feels like a high end brushed cotton shirt, but it’s less than half the weight of a cotton tshirt. We all love the moisture wicking fabrics in most running shirts because their so lightweight and don’t retain sweat and stick. The downside is after you’ve been going for several miles those shirts start to feel very rough. Rabbit has solved that problem. This shirt does a great job of moisture wicking but is still so soft! Other design features are great too like the offset stitching on the shoulders so you can hike with a pack in this shirt without irritation. I uploaded photos of the stitching because it’s intense. This shirt is really well made and will take some abuse. Finally, it’s a small thing, but the reflective Rabbit logo is pretty cool looking too. Just be sure to recognize that this is a running shirt and has a runners cut. It is designed to be a trim fit for that purpose. A few other reviews I saw must have missed that point. Lightweight, super soft, built tough… this is a perfect fit for purpose shirt.
Soft and comfortable
The first thing I noticed about this shirt is the comfortable material. Very soft and light weight. The shirt is fitted and snug, but overall it is a stretchy material and not too tight. The second characteristic of the shirt I liked was the ability to wick sweat and not become clingy. Although it is mostly polyester, it doesn't have that typical cling and clammy/sticky feel. Would definitely recommend.
Short and Snug
Shirt runs a little short. I'm 6'2", 185lbs and a large in Rabbit generally fits great. However, this shirt is a bit snug and runs 1.5"-2" short compared to their other shirts. Maybe it's a one off issue but this shirt didn't work for me. I also purchased the "perf" version of this shirt and it fit wonderfully.
Great running shirt
This is a very good running shirt. The material is high quality and extremely soft. I found that the fit is tight enough to avoid unnecessary motion while running without being uncomfortably tight. Comfortable under a long sleeve outer layer as well. Washed several times and it has not developed any odors that persist through the wash cycle like some running clothes do.
Great, Versatile Shirt
This rabbit shirt is a great, multi-purpose athletic shirt. Right away, it's very soft and wonderfully comfortable to wear. I wore it while running (a few 3-4 mile runs), doing yoga, and just existing around the house. In all cases, I never thought about the shirt, which is a win in my book. I have a broad chest and a short torso, so often shirts will feel tight in the chest or upper back and are way too long, going past my butt. But this shirt is cut to be just right in the top so it doesn't get caught or get tight during movement and is not too long. It sits just right past the waist, so it should fit a variety of torso sizes. After a session of very heavy sweating, it got a little smelly, but did not keep the smell after a single, normal wash. The shirt also does a good job of wicking enough sweat to not feel heavy mid run. Overall a great shirt and I will definitely be going to rabbit EZ shirts as I need more workout shirts!
Fantastic all around shirt
My first impressions with this shirt were that it was very soft yet still durable and that it runs very true to size. It is the perfect amount of compression and fit without being overly restrictive like some dry-fit shirts. It has been great to run in, even when one run was on a high humidity day. I’m rather picky on shirts I wear while running due to irritation and constantly adjusting, but I was pleased this shirt didn’t have any of those issues. I’ve also enjoyed it during general workouts and wasn’t restrictive of my movements. It would honestly be a great shirt for a lazy day on the weekends while around the house, it’s that comfortable. It has become one of my favorite go-to shirts for runs and workouts.
Shirt runs small and neck area hangs down
The Rabbit shirt is very comfortable and goid for running or walking. Problem is you need a larger size to fit and then the neck area is way too big an opening. After trying to shrink it I donated it.
Perfect Athletic and Casual Tee
The first thing I noticed about this shirt was how soft it was. Like, buttery soft. The breathability is remarkable; I'm someone that is pretty sensitive to heat buildup in synthetic shirts and this didn't bother me at all. The stretch moves well with you without bunching up in spots, which made it great for yoga. You can basically live in this shirt. I was able to wear it every day for a week without any funky smell and it's so comfortable I even slept in it a few nights. It has really proven its worth and will be in my luggage during some upcoming travel because of the versatility and longevity. Overall, I would highly recommend. I usually like my shirts on the looser side, so I would probably go a size up if I were using this strictly for casual wear. But the athletic cut works really well for wicking sweat and reducing chafing during physical activity.
