it works
On initial trial, felt satisfied, and had no thought to return to get a more expensive brand. Rode a good distance on rugged off-road conditions and on road. It stayed in place well. Filled it with only a sectioned orange and a large energy bar. It seemed to not be a problem in the few times I needed to jump out of the saddle to put my foot down. Was able to open and close zipper with one hand and access contents while riding without difficulty. Although did not try to stuff everything in it, it seemed to work for a place to be able to grab things needed while riding: food, glasses and such. Seems built to function and last.

Hook keeps coming undone
I love everything about this...except that it won’t stay out. The bungee hook that wraps around the headset spacers keeps coming undone. I’ve tried making it tight, loose, and in between, but the orientation of the hook and width of the hook opening means the bungee just pops out. I’ve ridden 3-4 times at 10-15 miles on pavement each time this week, and it keeps coming undone.

I Like It.

I like the REI Co-op Junction Top Tube bag because it well made, easy to use and holds two tire levers, two 20 gram CO2 cylinders, a CO2 dispenser, a small note pad, a pen, a folding knife, a nut bar, a Schrader valve adapter, a bicycle multi-tool, two UV arm sleeves and a small pack of wet wipes. I have had no failures. The elastic strap has held up when riding on severe washboard roads and rocky, rutted tracks. The bag has remained upright at all times. I used the side pocket for my phone only when I plan to ride on relatively smooth roads. I think the price is low for the quality and usefulness the top tube bag offers.

Great little pac

Fits on my cannondale mountain bike on the main frame right below the front of the bike seat. Fits my keys, phone, wallet, small bike light and has a bit extra room. Even has a net on one side(inside). I live in the city and it’s pretty easy to take off when I have to lock up on the street. Has two velcro straps and a bungee sort of strap with a hook that secures around the bike seat post. Only wish it had an easier way to carry it when I take it off to walk around with like a strap sort of thing I could slide my hand thru and then grip the entire pouch. I know that’s not the purpose of this item so I didn’t factor it into my rating.

A Console Compartment for My Bike

This bag is so handy! It's like having a console compartment for my bike. I holds my eye protection and a fist full of trail bars. No need to try and cram stuff in my pockets now. It's easy to access while riding. Mud and dirt clean off easily.

Great little bag!

This little bag came with me across the entire state of New York along the Erie Canal and I couldn't have been happier with it. It fits snug to my top tube (or in the case od my mountain bike, backward on my seat post) and holds my phone, wallet, and all the snacks I noshed on throughout the day. The fabric is surprisingly water repellent, so much so that during a nasty rainstorm, a pool formed in the side pocket because it couldn't leak through the fabric. For 362 miles, this little bag came in handy the most. It isn't cheaply made and there are no shortcuts taken.

Exactly what I needed and well executed

I got this for my road bike for my next century ride because I need a little more storage space. It's really well made. Narrow enough it doesn't get in the way of pedaling either seated or standing. I ride a 58 so if you have a smaller bike you may not have the same experience. I also have some space under my stem. If you have your stem slammed it may not work. Sides are stiff enough to stand up and not flop over. Zippers work great. Simple interior space, just a big pouch with one small mesh side pocket inside.

Excellent for the price

There might be better top tube bags out there, but for the price this thing has worked amazing over the year and a half I've had it. It goes on every commute and every tour and looks and functions the same as when I bought it. Easy to transfer between bikes, the strings attached to the zippers make it easy to open while riding, the inside mesh pocket has been very useful, and the outside pocket is great for a folded up map. The only gripe is the bag can shift off to one side if pushed, but it stays in place when riding which is what matters.

Great for spin bike

I live this bag. I use it on my Schwinn IC4 spin bike. I spend a lot of time on Zwift and Peloton, logging a couple hours at a time. This allows me to keep snacks and such on the bike instead of a table nearby. It also holds remotes for my fan and Apple TV. I had to use longer velcro straps but it’s a perfect fit.

Works and is a great value

Really love this bag. I found a way of securing it to my wide crossbar by putting two of the velcro straps together. Even with only one strap on the bottom it stays in place for me.
