Comfortable, but unisex sizing NOT good for women
I am a women's size 8, euro 39, which I ordered. My feet were dwarfed - they were more than a full size too big. Exchanged them out for a full size down, which fit better, but these are definitely made for men. Let's face it - unisex really just means it's made for men but scaled down for women, it is still made for men. The length is ok in the back but the front part is still soooo much longer than my toes, i.e. made for men. I wanted these for the comfort and fantastic arch support, which it has. They stretch out the bottom of your feet which is great after a long run. I am keeping these, only because I had a coupon and used my dividend. Because of the poor fit in the front though, I would not recommend them for women, or for full retail price.
True recovery sandal!
I ordered these flip flops due to an ongoing case of plantar fasciitis and found them to be better than anything else I’ve tried. Why? The insole is extremely cushioned without being so mushy that there’s no support-in fact the support and arch in these are great for a flip flop and I have a high arch. The fact that they don’t permanently indent to your foot shape and stay cushy illustrates that the foam in these shoes is really high quality. My plantar fasciitis has decreased almost entirely since wearing these and I now want to go to a closed shoe from Oofos for fall and winter—they are so comfortable even if not very attractive! Well worth it! I wear a 8 1/2-9 shoe size, have a wide foot, and bought both an 8 and 9-the 8 fits snugly on the foot and fits lengthwise perfectly and the 9 has a bit more room and length—love them both and neither size is sloppy on the foot, they’re light and quiet. The only criticism I have is that they are slippery in the insoles when wet.
Like walking on air, but...
I love my oofos--they are like walking on air, but the thong part on my right foot tore in two placed. I always buy from REI because they have a great return policy so I wrote to them over a wee ago to see if I could return them (I bought them 4 months ago) and I haven't recieved a response yet. They received my email and said they would response in 2-4 days. I'm very disappointed I haven't heard from them. I would like to exchange them for another pair, if possible as I am willing to give them another try. I only wear them around the house or for running errands.20
Disappointed
They are extremely expensive! They are very comfortable I really loved them for about 6 weeks. A day it started to rain and they got wet I took a step off a curb and the next thing my foot was on the concrete and my flip flop was on the side of my foot. The toe part broke. Very very disappointed!!
Just right!
I normally don't wear Flip Flops, but decided to give these a try... 1. Super comfortable as advertised. 2. I have a high arch so these seem to provide plenty of support. 3. My shoe size is a 9-9.5 and, I could have may dropped down a size, but they feel and look great. 4.Very pleased overall!!!!!!
Immediate Relief!
I suffer from reoccurring planter fasciitis. These are hands down the BEST flip flops I have ever bought! Don't waste your money on others, If you want good support and well made, sturdy flip flops, these are the ones.
The best recovery sandals
This is my second pair of Oofos. They are the best sandal out there. My first pair was a slide and the only reason I bought the flip flop version is because my foot would slide out of the slides when wet and I have hilly property and I wore the soles out to the point that they were racing slicks. I love the flip flops. I have to keep from wearing them so much or I’m going to wear these out too.
Best support I’ve been able to find
I suffer from plantar fasciitis and have shopped hundreds of sandals. By far these are the best ones that don’t make my feet hurt! I’ve given these as gifts and the feedback has been excellent too! Only problem is you have to be careful when floor is wet, very slippery.
overhyped!
I'm pretty disappointed, My wife purchased these on a whim, they are not worth the money! It's basically a bunch of molded foam probably polystyrene or something yeah its cushy but my heel rolls over when standing and walking. It has a terrible smell, which indicates off-gassing which is a pollutant and dangerous to inhale, your skin is touching it and will possibly absorb it. I usually buy only natural products so I will go back to my OLUKAI MEA Ola sandals they are pricey but all leather and excellent to walk in.
Great cushy flip flops
Super comfy, this is my second pair of Oofos and the first pair lasted me 5 years. They're very squishy which feels great on my feet, especially after a long hike. They leave more to be desired in the aesthetic department, but if that isn't your priority, these flip-flops are the best.
