Very poorly made. I bought these for my son and brother for Xmas and both of theirs ripped out after minimal usage.
I feel bad for KLG1 in St. Paul, but maybe he/she wasn't working hard enough? They kept my female hands so warm (withOUT hand warmer inserts) hiking on the mountain bike trails, at 9 degrees below zero wind chill, my hands and the gloves (on the inside) were dripping wet. Took three days over the heating vent to dry them out! TIP: I wear medical-style gloves now between hands and the gloves, so the inside of the Boulders stays dry... and clean. Only downside is they're still a little limiting in the dexterity department, difficult to change camera settings, etc., but do you want to be warm or perform surgery in below zero temps? Also, still warm after taking them off to remove spikes. Again, "rubber" gloves help, 'cause trying to get sweaty hands back in is a drag. Happy trails!
These might work fine for skiing when it's 25 degrees, but for snow removal at -5, my fingers ached from the cold after 10 minutes.
These have been great. I wore them on a long walk and they kept me toasty.
First year using these gloves and so far, they are performing very. It hasn't been too cold on the slopes here in Colorado too much, so cannot comment on the warmth in sub-zero weather.
One of the better gloves that REI has. really like the extended cuff very warm
Good product and warm at 20 degrees
