I bought this for use as a mini 1st aid kit. So far it looks great. Bottom of bag is pleated so it will hold some bulk. It seems to be designed for toiletries and airline travel. But it looks like it would hold a typical phone / keys / wallet (all at the same time), or a GPS etc. The clear window makes it easy to identify the contents at a glance, or even use a non touchscreen gps. Initial quality of the materials and workmanship looks great. It is fairly thin and lightweight. Aside from the clear window, the rest of it is made of a woven fabric. The whole thing is bonded together by heat sealing. It is not sewn. This kind of heat seal technology is getting better all the time. And at this price, I do expect a lot. I suspect that the users complaining of leakage did not read the instructions or pay attention to what they were doing. It's not a magic bag. You have to push the zipper-pull completely closed at the end to get a good seal. I'll probably get a couple more for swimming / boating.

I had a water bottle leak in my backpack last year. I got this specifically to keep my key FOB in incase that happened again. Today it happened again and there was water inside the pouch. Total failure.

Excellent protection in a light weight bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice light weight waterproof pouch. It has loops on the sides and the back to easily clip it onto hooks or a belt. I love being able to take my valuables with me on the water without worrying about them getting wet.

Love this pouch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got my Runoff Waterproof 3-1-1 Pouch and it’s most definitely waterproof. I actually dropped it in the water and not one drop got in this bag. It’s a nice rubbery material, for easy packing and allows you to not worry about you important items such as phone, keys, cc, and the like from getting wet. Make sure when zipping to completely zip to the end when you feel a catch at the end, you know it’s securely zipped up. Can be attached to a belt, rope and or a seatbelt for keepsake. I will not be in my boat or water without this product. It holds a good amount of items, 2 iPhones, keys and my DL and fishing license. Highly recommend.

Seals out water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been meaning to pick up a waterproof bag for water sports and trips to the beach so I was happy to try this. I tested it out by putting some items in and submerging it in water and everything inside stayed dry. It should be good for travel too as it is clear on one side and will keep any spills inside the pouch. The pouch itself is a good size as you can fit a decent amount of small items. The only small issue is the zipper is a little hard to open at first. The directions say to apply a liquid lubricant but the bag came with what appears to be a lubricant wipe. I didn’t want to open it as it came with only one. I’ll use it if I haven’t used the bag in a while.

Airline Employee

I work for a major airline and travel a lot recreationally, however I’m more of a minimalist traveler. Luggage I use is TravelPro Flight Crew 5 18” rollaboard mainly, but also have a 22” rollaboard, and 21” spinner. Often paired with a tote, like most flight attendants I know. What’s nice is the size fits perfectly in the front or back pocket on the flight crew 5 and even better is the fact it contains spills and keeps water out. Will be buying more of these probably just for cables. Also I’m extremely impressed with the zipper system, very smooth. Only time will tell of its durability since it is rather spendy. On vacation I usually just bring a carry on size backpack that fits under the seat and having the extra security knowing nothing will spill out or leak in is a huge bonus.

great product

This bag is spendy, but is of solid construction while staying of low weight. For travel it is extremely nice as a liquids bag and if bottles are crushed or leak will hold everything in. While backpacking it holds all my electronics/power bank and small items. The clear front is super useful and the zipper is secure and silent. I hope this special zipper becomes available for diy projects-so smooth and durable.

Strong Pouch, Weak Zipper Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had the chance to use this RunOff Waterproof Pouch once so far during a jet ski trip, but since the ski had built-in dry storage, I didn’t get to fully test the waterproof capabilities. What I can say is that the zipper was super difficult to open. I honestly thought I was doing it wrong at first. Later, I realized it may have been missing the small pull tab, which definitely would’ve helped. I haven’t had time to take it out kayaking like I planned (it’s been a wild summer), but before I do, I’ll need to rig up something to make the zipper more usable. I love the concept and appreciate the durable feel, but the zipper situation definitely needs improvement.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, the zipper is a little tough to open at first but should be much easier to open and close after lubricating it withe the TruZip wipes. Lubricating the zipper is the key to keeping it healthy and working for a long time. Please reach out to us at info@niteize.com and we would be happy to talk through this more.

Kept phone dry.

This was perfect for keeping my phone dry on a water vacation. We constantly went back and forth in a dinghy, water splashing up at times, to shore. Before we left home, I put cord through the holes on either side, which served me well as we walked on beach or trail, phone inside, pouch around my neck and hands free, till the next photo opportunity.

Works great to keep valuables dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the pouch is perfect for your phone and other valuables that you don’t want to get wet. Perfect for the beach, pool, hiking, or water rides. I fully submerge the pouch in water and the inside was completely dry. It also comes with a lubricant wipe for after cleaning or storing.
