Once Great Tape Now Unusable
This tape is very different than what it used to be. Manufacturing moved from the USA to China and the tape no longer has there strength and durability it once had. For bouldering, this tape is unusable in my book as it provides little to no support. Hopefully Metolius brings back the old version because this tape is garbage.
Great Quality and Customizability
Got this climbing tape on a whim and I’m glad I did. It’s come in handy on multiple occasions, in which I had a scrape or flapper on my fingers. The tape is well sized for finger joints, and I love that the wavy edges of the tape makes it easier to tear to whatever length I need.
Decent Tape
Sticks well to your skin, but could be a bit grippier on the outer surface. It's cheap though, you get what you pay for.
The good stuff
The best tape! Super sticky, stays on for hours, and fun colors! This is the good stuff.
just what i needed
i like this skinny take better than the fat tape for taping up my fingers when climbing. Maybe its because I have smaller hands/fingers, but i find myself going for the skinny tape more often. The colors are fun, too!
Great tape! Cool colors!
Glad they made this addition to the boring white tape! You get the same amount as a full roll as the quantity is 2 it’s just pre sliced for fingers!
Use it for things other than climbing
This tape is super cool for all kinds of stuff. I'm not a climber. Good hiking tape, awesome built-in guide to make your own "tape glove" (also on their website if you lose the packaging).
