Premium
I am an Avid coffee, and tea drinker. I bought this here based off of the reviews. This here 5 ounce cup is amazing. I’d have to say this is a premium product. I am currently using it with the 18 ounce rambler, which originally came with a hotshot cap, which I happen to like. But this 5 ounce cup is top notch, and I absolutely love it and recommend it. This is a perfect companion/accessory for your 18 ounce rambler 26 ounce rambler or even 36 oz rambler. So if you’re on the fence about buying this product, don’t be, it is totally worth it. I’d even go as far as saying it’s a GameChanger.
Heavy and durable, what’s not to love?
Very hefty, much more than I excepted but I don’t hate it.
An Absolute Unit
just opened this up last night after coming home from finals, and I'm so grateful I ordered it to kick off my camping trip for next week. I got it to share drinks with my 64 oz rambler (the boys call him big pig) and based on the way its performed tonight while writing my paper, it improves the 64 oz rambler ten fold! This thing should come stock! Also, I've noticed the condensation from the freezing water on the inside hasn't built up around any of the components like the chug cap, so that's a big plus. Totally worth the price to have two Yetis in one.
Drip-Free's The Way To Be
I've got the 18oz. rambler and have several tops for it (straw cap/standard/hotshot cap) and they're all great for their particular purposes. But I kept finding that when I wanted to pour coffee into a mug — either with the hotshot or no top at all — it was never a clean pour. ENTER THE CUP CAP. This thing pours smooth from either side and has ZERO drips. I was also pleasantly surprised by the insulated cup and it's perfectly grippable size. This top may not be ideal for every occasion — I still prefer my straw cap or just "going topless" ;) for water or cold beverages — but when it comes to pouring hot coffee into a cup/mug, this one wins. Hands down.
NEEDS TO BE ADVERTISED AS THE MOST INSULATING!!!
It's an insulated cap with an insulated cup covering the cap. I will say that In the past with the haul cap I would jam the 10oz cup on to my 36oz bottle so same thing. It was astonishing to see that under the Texas sun all day my "sports drink" was still very cold and I never add ice. Hate the watered down taste, drink was only refrigerator cold to start. Usually all of the other yeti lids will have condensation because they're the weak point of the vacuum insulated bottle not this one!!! I bought this as a replacement to the chug cap for my 36oz bottle that I purchased when they were released, originally came with the haul cap... Now I have one on each of my 18oz bottles. Sure it doubles the price but it's WORTH IT!!! Yeti please release a copper elements version of the cup cap.
Truly a joy
It is such a joy to pour my coffee into the little insulated mug and drink it before it gets cold. I have been waiting for something like this for a long time. It is well worth the price if you’re into quality products that last and look great too. It also doesn’t drip when pouring like the other tops did or when you pour out of the bottle into a mug.
Nice way to turn rambler into coffee mug
Wanted a completely dishwasher safe option to keep coffee hot at home through the morning. This works well and a nice bonus is that the insulated cup works great for keeping ice cream frozen. I was initially planning to get the HotShot cap but this was on sale so I went for it. I wonder why it's being discontinued. A few minor quibbles. I find it a bit tight to twist on and off but maybe it will get looser over time. Also I didn't realize there were so many gaskets to take on and off and keep track of!
I absolutely love it. No leaks at all.
I had a cheap thermos that didn't fit my trucks cup holders and would lay it in the passenger seat. By the time I made it work coffee would leak onto my seat. I finally had enough and bought a yeti bottle with this cap. Awesome purchase, never will I have another brand.
YETI Goldilocks Combo
Searching through the various rambles accessories, I found the perfect at work hot coffee combination! The combo includes the 18 oz rambles with the 5 oz cup cap accessory. YETI drink wear insulates so well that it takes forever for coffee to get to a drinkable temperature. With the cup cap, I can pour piping hot coffee from the rambler into my cup to cool off some of the coffee while keeping the rest hot. When the coffee in the cup cools off more than I like, I simply add more coffee into the cup until I reach an ideal temperature. I call this setup the YETI goldilocks setup.
Heavy and nice
Bought this after seeing it in store and decided to use it with a Rambler 26 Oz. for an overnight camping trip that had a low of about 33F. I didn’t realize how heavy it was when I first bought it, but when on my full Rambler, it pushed close to 3 lbs. That being said, it performed flawlessly, keeping my boiling soup piping hot when we finally set up camp (about 6 hours later). The cap design is nice so you don’t have to completely take it off to pour any of the liquid out if you have coffee/tea/hot cocoa, which I utilized throughout the night and next morning. The actual cup (heavy) is insulated and feels incredibly well made and durable. All in all, I would recommend it, but am looking at the Stanley Master series as it’s more affordable and based on another online test/review, keeps liquids hotter.
