Nice bag if it’s what you’re looking for.
The bag is really pretty good. Solid quality and simple design. It’s very comfortable and perfect if you’re carrying a relatively small amount. I carried a water bottle, light jacket, a few bars, my kindle, and a few other small items. It was perfect for those sorry of daily carry kind of items. It barely fits my iPad, would not work for a laptop. I don’t think you’d want to carry more than a few pounds it.

Careful of the Wrecking Ball Effect…and Sweat
The size, construction, and the stabilization strap on this are great. It really stays in place when I’m riding a bike. I can only give it three stars though due to two pretty big drawbacks (at least for me). The first is that it doesn’t breathe at all (there’s no mesh backing on the back of the bag). In Texas this means you’re going to sweat a LOT under it even when just walking or hiking. The second is the buckle weighs almost as much as the bag and simply taking the bag on and off causes it to swing like a wrecking ball destroying everything in its path (pro tip, don’t take it off when standing next to your car). I end up leaving it buckled and putting it on like a shirt over my head but the inconvenience, weight, and wrecking ball carefulness could be fixed with a different buckle.

the worst first experience

so i ordered my first chrome industries bag i was so exited i had heard nothing but good from this brand but boy was i wrong i ended up getting a used and probably returned bag as my new kadet sling i couldnt believe it so i had to dig deeper and it only got worse tag wasnt attached to the bag which made me suspicious then i saw the front of the bag look like it had a stain upon further inspection it was also stained inside i dont know this left me with a bad first experience this might be my one and only bag after the inconvenience i have to go through and im no longer excited for it as i dont hold the company in the high regard that i did before /:

Comfy, cool, & almost perfect

I’m a faithful and long time lover of the metro messenger bags (full size and mini) for around 10 years. I wanted something for when I go out that is somewhere between the mini metro and a hip pack. I love it! It’s comfy to the point that I don’t want to take it off. I used it for the first time on an outing and it met my needs. I can fit my journal, sunblock, a 16oz water bottle (narrow profile), pen, chapstick, sunglasses and a book. It didn’t get very bulky, which was my biggest reservation with the kadet . The other perk is it’s easier to get into compared to the messengers where you have to open the flap. It’s not something I can use when commuting into the office and only appears to be water resistant. In the PNW waterproof is your bestie.Loves: 💙ample space for EDC, if you keep it light💙Two easily accessible pockets. Main pocket pretty spacious and has small sleeve area💙Slot for U lock with padding, so it doesn’t dig into your back💙stabilizing under arm strap 💙Attractive💙 Hugs the body and stays put💙Front of bag appears to be a bit reflective (I have the Lucas Beaufort bag)Cons:❌ No real organization within main pocket❌Lacks a place to hook lights to increase visibility when riding❌Too small for workers/students whose EDC includes laptops, lunch, change of clothes, etc.

Love this bag

Great bag, would’ve given 5 stars if it had more organization pockets. Other than that, love it!

Perfect Daily Carry

I've been carrying this bag daily for two weeks now and I love it.I had been using a 28L/2-day backpack as my daily and it resulted in me lugging around a bunch of stuff I didn't really need. The Kadet is just the right size for the things I use on a daily basis plus a bit of flex room. Plus it looks cool and is not cumbersome to carry everywhere. If I bring my SteamDeck with me it fits snugly in the bag. The factory case fits but is bulky. I purchased the TomToc case specifically for carry in the Kadet and they're a perfect fit. My friends that have SteamDecks will be receiving a Kadet for Christmas this year.

I love it but...

I’ve been kicking this bag around for 4 or 5 years now. I love itBut I wish there was a camera organizer insert or something. I have the insert and I love it. If I could carry my camera it would be the perfect bag . Make me an insert to keep my cannon safe and padded.

Don't Underestimate The Warranty

As the title states, don't! If anything is wrong with your Kadet, let these guys know and they will take care of you! Truly more than just words! I bought my first Kadet Sling three weeks ago only to find out there was a defect on the strap. I contacted Chrome with my concern and within a few days Josh took care of me. Picked out a new Kadet and within a couple of days it was at my door. They have a customer for life after this experience! As for the bag itself, I use it on the daily for everyday carry. Packed right, it can haul quite a bit. One thing to really grab if you're considering buying is a Kadet Organizer, it's a huge game changer! More pockets for storage than in its stock configuration put still an ample amount of space to add small things like their small utility pouch, a phone, keys, wallet. You name it, you could possibly fit it. Only con I have with this is the strap itself. The keeper and buckle like to slide around and adjust on their own at times. Also, if you're considering the Heritage Suede colorway, know that the retaining strap is not removable, at least on my original one it wasn't. But on the black, that I have now, it is removable. Something to keep in mind if you need to constantly slide your bag around. Other than that, it's a great design.

phenomenal.

I have had this bag for 6 months. And it is the best daily bag I have every owned. The u lock holster is so convenient. This bag is small, but if you carry a purse or a Fanny pack. This will be plenty of room. The fastening straps on the sides also come in handy. There are several strange items that I have been able to fit in the straps on the side. For example a large desk lamp. And a rod for a shower curtain. The material is very heavyweight and durable. And it does not feel cheap at all. I would recommend getting chromes phone holster that comes separately. Together they are perfect. No complaints.

Love Love Love

This is the BEST bag I own! It is beautiful, excellent quality, sturdy, stylish and overall just incredible! I have received many compliments on it and the buckle is the icing on the cake. I couldn’t be happier! I’ll probably purchase another one in the future!

Slightly bigger than a fanny pack

Definitely a bag for people on the go. I’ve hiked, biked, and ran with this bag. My only gripe is that the pocket is not padded so I wouldn’t put your phone in there with metal objects. Since it’s just a big pocket, things move around. The organizer sold separately should be the standard. Other than that, it’s a solid bag. Not completely water proof but close to it. (Protected my electronics in heavy rain) I’ve had mine for 4 years. It’s a good bag for carrying necessities/trinkets/electronics while commuting. Easily accessible with some good zippers that seal and keep the bag at a cool temperature. For context on the size, I’ve had a fresh change of clothes fit, a tupperware with travel kit fit, 4 tall cans fit, and 1 medium size hoodie fit. (Separately, not all of that together) Whether you’re in nature or the dirty streets of LA, it does the job, and give me any reason to click that buckle. If it was just a LITTLE bigger with better organization, it would be the perfect bag. Regardless, I love this bag and tell everyone to get it. Good job, chrome.
