KUHL  Spyfire Down Vest - Men's

Warm and compact size, super lightweight. Comparable in warmth to other down jackets from Patagonia. Dual chest zippers are great feature and hard to find on a down vest. I'm 5'10", 180 and the medium is form fitting and snug enough for an under-shell layer for skiing, which was my plan. I think a Large would end up baggier than I want. If you want a little looser fit, go up a size. Only downfall is the waist measurement is very small for the Medium. It's a longer length so the waist ends up being around my hips. Not sure why they designed it like this or with no stretch in that area. I have a larger rear end/hips, so it tends to be tight there and the waistline rides up to around my belt, which bunches up the vest in the midsection. I've started rolling the waist up under to get rid of the bunching and has seemed to work. 5 Stars without that issue.

The vest is perfect. Great for that in between weather that is too warm for a jacket and a bit chilly without one. It is classy enough to wear within a business casual setting and casual setting on the weekend outdoors. The shoulder material is great for durability if you use a backpack. The seams are appropriate to keep the filling in its appropriate place. The pocket locations and numbers are great (i.e. chest pockets to use for hands or to not weigh down the vest if filled with belongings). My favorite everyday vest.

I really enjoy this vest. Fits wonderful, very warm, and I use as another layer. Fit, Function, and quality are 100%. Kuhl makes wonderful gear and worth the premium!

Amazing Vest that far exceeded my expectations. The fit is great, the warmth is what I expected. The material and craftmanship is superb. I highly recommend.

warmth is there feels good but, sizing runs lil too big compare to other brands I had previously. Fit also isn't too good it's longer then the other brands.

The XXL i ordered fits me like a large in other brands . This runs small in the waist area. I will have to get a XXXL which ive never had to do .

Perfect vest for many occasions. First off, I’ve been wearing the vest under my shell while snowboarding all day. Absolute warmth and perfect temperature regulation. When I’m off the slopes it is a good looking outer layer for dinner or s’mores by the fire. I love it!!

This vest is exactly as advertised: lightweight but exceptionally warm. Many great design features, including multiple pockets as well as a premium outer shell finish. I expect many years of use from this product!

Overall good quality just little tight in the arm opening. I am slender build. It is warm and looks good and comfortable even with design. I would say if you have larger arms this will be tight in armpit area.

Those is my second Spyfire and I’ve had my first for over 10 years. I “grew” and needed to go up to a large. Love the pockets and packability of the best. The Spyfire series is awesome!!
