Blush Pink is more like Neon Salmon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered the Blush Pink in Lg and Med. The Med fit perfectly, the Lg was too big. I have several Columbia vests and they are all Mediums. So I'd say this vest is true to size. While I like bright colors, I think the name "Blush Pink" is misleading; the color is more like Neon Salmon or Nuclear Cantaloupe (names my husband came up with when he saw the vest). So be warned - its a loud color. Still trying to decide of I like the color, but I do like the fit and feel of the vest very much.
Love all the zippered pockets
Love the zippered pockets and weight of this vest. It's well made and a great color. Too bad it runs small. I'm a bit busty, but a large normally works. This vest I could zip, but barely, and definitely not with anything other than a tank top on. Will be exchanging for an XL.
Vest is indeed heavenly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been wearing this vest every day since I bought it in Nov. It’s slimming fit is not only attractive but also very warm. I love that it uses my body heat to keep out the cold. The pockets are perfectly sized to carry my cell phone to snap pictures when I’m hiking. The collar has a soft lining that keeps my neck cozy all day long. The Heavenly Vest is indeed heavenly!
Disappointed
I had a down Columbia vest for 10 years when the zipper broke. That vest was great, super warm, thick down, hood with faux fur. Stylish enough to wear around town and warm enough to wear spring skiing. I sent in the vest hoping for a repair -- Patagonia style -- but instead I was issued a credit for a new purchase. If I had known that the quality had deteriorated so much in the last 10 years, I would never have sent my original vest in. Neither this Heavenly vest nor the Down 22 vest come close to the one I had before in terms of warmth. I do like the zippered pockets (including an inner pocket) on the Heavenly vest and the fact that it is water resistant, but I regret having let the first one go.
great quality for the price

Fantastic option!
I liked the long version of this vest so much I bought the short version! I love the fit of these vests, more sleek and urban style with the solid arm holes and high fluffy collar. With the omni-heat tech, the vest is very warm without making me feel like a walking marshmallow and packs down better for hikes. The collar is extra high, but I'm a fan as my neck is always getting cold, plus it's wide enough and fluffy too! I much prefer this matte material to what are often super shiny options in puffer vests. My only complaint would be that the color selection wasn't great, pretty much pastel except for black. I did end up loving the caramel color that I ordered, but the long version of this vest had more versatile colors.

It keeps my core warm indoors and out without adding a bulky layer. The fit is just as expected using the website’s sizing chart. I bought it in chalk, which is a lovely off-white, and it goes with everything. I love the fleece on the inner collar and in the pockets. The Omni-heat technology keeps me toasty warm in sub-zero temperatures, yet I’m still comfortable wearing it indoors. I expect it will also be ideal on chilly spring and autumn days. Love, love, love this vest.
Heavenly Vest
I have worn my new vest several times in the last week. It's very comfortable, soft and lightweight. It has faux fur around the inside of collar which is nice. It hasn't been very cold so I can't attest to how warm it is, so that is why I gave it only a 4. I suspect it's very warm with the omni-heat lining. I originally purchased a large which turned out to be a bit too snug. I wouldn't have been able to wear anything heavy/bulky underneath. I am 5'5 and weight 170. If you aren't sure whether to size up, the extra large is not baggy or oversized. So I wouldn't be afraid to do that if you want to be able to wear something bulky underneath. I like that the length is a little longer. The hem hits me at the top of my legs.
Great, warm, light-weight winter vest

I called to cancel the order but it was already sent, so I planned to return it. As I was going to mail it back, I decided to take it with me to NYC because my son and his girlfriend were coming East from California and it had gotten cold. I thought I'd see if she would like it. I showed it to a friend before offering it my son's girlfriend, and she liked it too! So, instead, of returning it, my son's girlfriend had a new winter vest and I brought one for my friend.
Very Nice Vest - not quite right for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well made, like the ivory color, good pockets, good styling. But I’m a standard small and this vest was too roomy in the bust for me. Im pretty flat chested so maybe if you’re a busty small it would work for you. Also, I have short hair and a bare neck so I was attracted to the description of the soft lining around the neck. But it doesn’t go down far enough in the back if I wear a t-shirt, so I still get that cold nylon feel on my neck. But if that’s not an issue for you, either, it’s a pretty darn nice vest.
