Just got this tent and was a little scared since mountain hardware just got into the tent business and I can’t find a review anywhere! But I am extremely impressed with this product if your interested in this style north face and kelty make a similar tent but the major draw for me was how the other tent poles come together and bottles the rain water and causes leaks. This tent has a good design to combat that it’s spring here in Idaho and in my yard test the tent has zero leaks. So over all I love the price. I love the design and I really love the material.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently used this tent during a Columbia River kayak camping trip. The tent is really made for just one person and gear comfortably. I brought along my low profile camping cot and it just barely fit so that’s a huge plus! During the trip it was hot and sunny and random spots of rain. It was great to have the versatility of the rain fly. When the rain came it only took seconds to adjust the fly and hop in the tent!! Easy to setup for one person, good for 2-3 seasons (not sure how I would feel with heavy downpour with this tent). During the night I had half the rain fly up so I could fall asleep to the stars and wake up to the view of the water. Can’t wait to use it again!!!
Check the forecast, take down the fly, and wake up to total surrounding sunrise views. No more straining your head to peep out your window. Seriously makes the outdoors look better when you’re cuddled up safe and sound. It really is 100% mesh down to the couple inches of “bathtub style” floor. I’ve slept in it through 2 storms so far, water isn’t an issue. Set up is super easy. 1 connected set of poles. Everything snaps into place. It’s simple smart and cool.
After searching and searching, I finally decided on the mountain hardwear vision 2 tent. The true fit, and the ease of set up and just how darn good it looks in the outdoors.
