Thule  Evo Clamp Feet - Package of 4

I used the Thule website app to assemble a kit that best fits my new Sportage SUV and was also compatible with my Thule carrier. Although, the rack was a little difficult to get seated in place the first time, once It was set correctly it is rock solid.

Thule is top notch especially if you pay for their best products. Quality is best out their and customer service is awesome as well. I'm a Thule customer for sure

I'm happy with the Thule Clamp Evo (and cross bars). I installed a cargo box and will take them on their first road trip this week. The Clamp Evo could have been very easy to install, except it wasn't. It took me 4 times as long, mainly because there's something they don't tell you: you must place the bar *before* tightening the clamps. Otherwise, they come loose. Over, and over, and over again. Instruction leaflet is not the best. I understand they use graphics only as a 'universal language', but if you're going to do that, do it right (like your compatriots at IKEA). The diagrams are way too small. This is a Thule thing; I've purchased other products and found the same problem. I wish they would spend a few more kronor printing better instructions; or include a URL or QR code and have an instructional video online.

This review is for a complete pair of roof racks, square bars + clamps + feet. Assembly and installation of the complete racks was easy, especially compared to the two vintage 1999 and 2008 sets that I have (which aren't difficult, by the way). Nice that a torquing tool and measuring tape were included. The foot pads fit perfectly. Virgin use of the racks was to haul a new canoe 300 miles to its new home; no problems the entire trip, and no re-tightening required. Great, well-thought-out, well-designed product. As a side note, it would be nice if Thule made 34" or 36" pads for the square bars, in addition to the 24" and 30".

Was nervous about buying clamp roof racks for safety reasons. My car didn't come with pre-drilled holes so if I wanted to a roof rack to carry my Thule roof box I needed to purchase this one. It's amazing! Relatively easy to install, super solid and safe. Was exactly what I wanted.

This clamp, along with the foot pad kit, Evo square bars and the Hull-a-Port 834 arrived just in time for me to install for my kayak camping vacation. It was fairly easy to install with good instructions and all neccessary tools supplied. I was very impressed with how solid and secure the system feels. The square bars do generate wind noise at speed but I can live with it. If you can't, the available deflector shield should alleviate the problem. I do wish they had mentioned in the product description that plastic screw-in locks(?) are included with the Evo Clamp. I chose to order a set of four keyed metal locks for it to provide a little more theft deterrence. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I installed the Evo Clamp and square bars on a 16’ Ford Edge smooth roof. The system was incredibly user friendly and easy to install and mount a roof rack on. Rock solid after a 12 hr road trip. Another amazing product from Thule!

The Thule rep was super helpful finding a system to fit my car. It went on easy and is super secure. Designed brilliantly, they even included strips to reduce noise and block airflow into the car.
