Manufacturing Defect
The dial knob was not attached to the main body of the torque wrench. The knob, internal spring, and washer fell out when I took the tool out of the plastic storage box. This took place the 1st time I removed the wrench from the box not after using the product for a period of time.
Very disappointing - will return
I decided to spend a little more after reading many reviews on smaller torque wrenches, thinking "you get what you pay for". Well this isn't the case. Upon opening the plastic case a screw fell out of the case. It is one of the two screws in the head assembly. Gives me serious doubt it was inpsected or even check for calibration before being sent.
They are ok
I work in a shop for REI and for bikes we use this torque wrench and the higher range one in 3/8” drive. Having both ranges ensure less deviation from true value in that range, so the low range is nice for head sets etc. and the high range is better for pedals, lock rings etc, so I would say they definitely do the job, sometimes the feedback/indication of achieved torque value is not as good, but I have only noticed this on one out of the six (low range ones) I have used in the last two years. Unfortunately, in the world we live in it is cheaper to buy new torque wrenches every year than to have them recalibrated, so a lower price point works. For my personal life (mainly for cars) I use CDI torque wrenches produced by Snap On as I feel this is a tool to not skimp on and a tool that is worth paying for to be recalibrated. The choice is yours, generally most torque wrenches out of the box will indicated a torque ’close enough’ to what’s desired. Hope this helps some.
Great torque wrench, but overpriced
As far as torque wrenches go, the TW-5.2 works great. It's consistent, easy to use, and doesn't fall apart easily like some of the cheaper models do. It's also nice that the TW-5.2 (despite what the other review indicated) has a 3/8 head on it, so you can use standard allen adapters without having to use a 1/4-3/8 adapter like most small range torque wrenches require. When you reach the desired torque, the movement of the wrench is very obvious. It's also bidirectional, which most cheaper torque wrenches are not. The problem for me is the cost and torque range. Most parts on my bike are between 3-19nm, this one tops out at 14nm. That means for the higher torque ranges, you have to buy another $110 torque wrench. I think this would be a better value, and I'd have an easier time eating the cost, if the torque range was wider. There are also no provided bits, which all the other >$100 non-digital torque wrenches provide. Something like the Topeak D-TORQ provides more value: wider range (2-20nm), digital, and contains several bits. Granted, it's ~$70 more, but still cheaper than buying two Park wrenches to cover the same range and the required bits.
QC lacking
I've purchased two of these new and both arrived with the plastic window/guide loose. Only friction holds it in place. I returned the first one and when the second arrived like that I applied some adhesive to keep the window in place. Park needs to assess their manufacturing. It does not inspire confidence with the tool flies apart removing it from its packaging.
Pricey but gets the job done
I bought this along with the Park Tool socket set. So far it's been fantastic and has worked great. I think a lot of the people commenting that the "click" doesn't work when it's at torque is because the bottom adjuster only moves the torque up and down, there is a dial on the handle to read what torque setting your at. If you don't look at that dial, it can be misleading. Overall, very happy with my purchase. Would recommend.
Good tool
Generally a good tool. I'd note that the "click" when reaching the torque setting is not as positive as I might have liked, hence 4 stars. However, this may just be the nature of a low-torque instrument.
Works perfectly
Torque ranges for my bike are from 2-12 Nm so this wrench fits the bill. Absolutely no issues with the packaging, product assembly, torque settings or ability to feel the tool reaction when torque is met. No regrets.
Appears to be well made so far -

Garbage
This wrench arrived and does not work whatsoever. It is supposed to click when you reach the set torque, but it does not click. I've tried every setting, but nothing. Piece of garbage.
