Favorite Shoes. Wish I Could Wear Them Every Day.
I was a little dubious about these flip flops since I'm used to wearing $20 sandals from another company and having them fall apart within a couple months. But I'd heard so many great things about OOFOS I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did!!!! They are absolutely the most comfortable shoe I own. I wore them pretty much three months straight through every type of camping/urban walking/adventure and they still look brand new. And even though I live somewhere where it rains and shows a decent amount of the year, I still pull them out in horrible weather any time my back or legs hurt from wearing other shoes. They're my go-to default comfy, good-looking shoe.
Love these BUT
Buyer beware. The OOFOS OOlala Sandals are advertised by REI as women's sizes. I ordered the same size as my original OOFOS, hoping these would be a bit narrower and shorter. These came sized and labeled on the sole exactly as the original, "Men's 5/Women's 7". The only difference is in the strap. Also, the black OOlala looks like patent leather i.e. glossy. That being said, OOFOS are the most comfortable ever! I am returning these and ordering the originals in black, hoping it is a matte black. They are so comfortable it's worth it having a bit of extra length. And, the soles curve up just enough that you don't trip. They have become the "go to" slipper in Hawaii for locals.
Like walking on a cloud
I was so excited to have the opportunity to demo these sandals for the Dyrt! These sandals are like walking on a cloud! Sooo comfy! I wore these around camp the entire weekend. It felt like heaven to put them on after wearing water shoes rafting and stiff approach shoes while hiking. They are so cushiony and supportive in the arch. These sandals are not designed for hiking and they are not stable on the uneven and steep terrain. If you use these for what they are designed for, recovery, you will not be disappointed. I'm a firm believer on wearing the right footwear for the right activity and these OOFOS are excellent recovery shoes, as designed! 5 stars OOFOS! Okay I dropped my rating to 4 stars because after a summer of wear, they did not hold up as I had hoped. I have the white sandal and the paint is cracked. That is my only complaint. I will purchase again, but will buy black so the cracks are less visible. Or another style without the piant over the material.
ripped apart after two months
Bought these hoping for a sturdy flipflop at $65! They tore open in a tidepool walk leaving me with no shoes for the way home! Their customer service gave me the runaround even after a receipt was shown then offered me a coupon and no replacement! BOOOO!
Life Changing
I bought a pair of these while recovering from plantar fasciitis. LIFE CHANGING! I wear them at all times at home...except to bed...or in the shower. I also pack them on trips. Then, I got a pair for my mom for Christmas. Best. Present. Ever. Normally, I get her something with a horse on it. Anything without a horse is a serious gamble. OOFOS came up sevens! If you're ever in the doghouse with your spouse, these babies are your ticket off the couch.
These sandals saved my race day
OMG I love these sandals. I bought them when I had foot pain develop in the 2 weeks before a half marathon. I had to stop training and figured I would not be able to race, OOFOS to the rescue! I wore these all day for a few days, the foot pain resolved, I ran 2 more times and finished my first half - woo-hoo! Now I just wear them around the house like slippers as they are so comfy. I bought my sis a pair and she loves them too. The color on the bands has cracked a bit but who cares. I may just have to buy another pair to wear out and about.
Makes hiking even easier
This is my third pair of OOfos. I absolutely LOVE them! I wear them after a long hike and they make it easier to walk even if my legs are hurting. I highly recommend this product! Most comfortable sandal ever!
Ahhhhhhhhh, EVERY TIME...
That’s what I say every time I put my oofos on. I really can’t believe how comfortable these sandals are especially after a run. If I know I’m going to be walking and standing a lot I’m all about the oofos. I think I’m going to buy a blue pair too. I may never wear another shoe (when not working).
Comfy, but ugly
I bought these to wear after playing tennis. They’re really soft, but i hate the way they look.
