Perfect for casual hiker
I'm a casual hiker, once a year I'll go on a overnight hiking trip, but most of the time I'm on developed trails with my dog. So most of the time I just wore my worn out Vans I didn't care about any more. But I was always lacking grip, and ankle support. So I was really happy when these popped up on my radar. They're very light, and very well cushioned, and surprisingly don't need a break in, which shocks me because I'm used to breaking in every other pair of Vans I've purchased. If you're wearing cushioned hiking socks I'd buy your normal size, if you're going to wear these with normal socks you might consider going a half size smaller. Other than that, I have no complaints.
Great shoe
I bought these for use as my daily driver. a little tough to get on but that'll will go away with break in, Duel pull loops are awesome. super Comfortable and insanely light weight.I love the height. with the mesh I think It would be a great option for wearing as a whitewater shoe. well worth the money
super grip
I wore these through red rock canyon in Las Vegas. Dusty rocks and all kinds of terrain couldn’t stop the gummy grip of these shoes. Super light and ultra comfort. Thinking about buying another pair before they disappear.
Low Quality - Not Built to Last
I purchased a pair of these shoes for my son’s first day of school. They did not last 4 weeks. Holes appeared in the suede/leather. The soles started falling apart.
The Suede styles them up from being a tennis shoe
Lite weight and comfortable. Arch support in Van's hallelujah.
