Great running hat and worth the wait for my size
Bought this hat a year ago at the beginning of my running journey and still love it, the reflective logo is starting to peel but the rest of that hat looks as good as it did on day 1!
Actual sizing, finally a hat that really fits!
This light weight, fast drying, well-cut hat is a fabulous find. Sized hats are impossible to find, and thank you Solomon for offering these, especially in all the great colors! I bought myself one and like it so much I'm adding another color. Because it's a real size instead of horrible OSFA, it's cut well enough to fit my whole head instead of just perching on top. It washes well without shrinking (no dryer, obviously) and that's a big plus, because sweaty hats... enough said! The fabric is great for breathability, even for a pretty sweaty summer run. The brim is just right with a great curve and good shading. I just plain love this perfect running hat. Well done, Salomon!
Perfect for smaller heads
I have three of these hats because they come in a small size. I do not have a large head and the S/M fits my head perfectly. The hat has a nice tight fit for when I use my light (attaches to bill) on early morning or late evening runs. The hat does not bounce like my other loose fitting hats when I attach my light. I accidentally put one of the hats in the dryer and the bill is forever misshaped now. So, don't put it in the dryer with a bunch of other clothes. The hats have stood up to lots of wear and tear. I will definitely be buying more when I see a color I really like.
Bad print
I bought this a month ago and logo on the front starts falling apart, so hat looks like it’s old.

Lightweight, breathable and great fit!
I've often struggled with getting a good fit in a running cap. Many other caps say they accommodate larger sizes head, but then don't fit. I definitely found that the XA fit a wide range of head sizes and was nice to find L/XL fit very comfortably. The material is very lightweight and cool and will be my go to hat in the summer!
Fantastic for running
I have a few of these caps and recently bought the green one....it’s actually a bit darker than the picture shows snd I love it ! I prefer the fastening to last years velcro, the stretchy elastic is really comfortable and give a quick change of size also. It’s so light and you don’t really feel you have anything on your head .
Superb cap!
I absolutely love this cap! It fits perfectly to my head (adjustable if needed) Some running caps fit awkwardly or are ill fitting, which is a distraction when training or in a race. This cap stays in place and barely feels like it's on your head! Will definitely buy another! Highly recommend for your running kit!
what you expect
Very happy with this purchase, it's my second cap from Salomon so I had reassurance it would function aptly. My only gripe being I wish it was a bit more form fitting. It feels like it's in between medium and Large (duh that is the size on tag) but I wish it was slightly more snug in the crown of my head.
Great fitting hat
Finding a good quality running hat to fit my small head has been difficult. The s/m fits perfectly, even when I have a light attached to the brim - no bouncing or putting a headband under the hat. The hat breathes well on my long runs. I will be adding more colors once they come into stock.
I love these caps but…
Great fitting lightweight cap that i keep buying but for the money Salomon could do better with the logo which starts peeling off after one wash. Arcteryx manage to build a cap that keeps its integrity for hiking, why can’t Salomon do the same for running? i still like them though …
