HOW TO MEASURE:
Neck: Around the fullest part of the neck, at the base.
Chest: Around the chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades.
Sleeve: From the center back of the neck, across the shoulder, and down the arm to the wrist.
Waist: Around the narrowest part of the waist.
Hip: Around the widest point of the hips.
Inseam: From the crotch to the anklebone on the inside of the leg.

From trail to beach...
...this jacket has got you covered. When I first purchased this softshell, I was worried that it was going to be too thin. I already owned a windbreaker, and was hoping for something a bit more insulated; however, this is now my go-to jacket for most activities. I live in the drier part of Oregon, and think this is the perfect trail running jacket as it is breathable but effectively keeps out the wind, light snow, and drizzle (I wouldn't wear it in a downpour, its definitely not a rain jacket). I haven't worn it XC skiing yet, but I estimate that it will perform well. Also, I brought this jacket with me to Hawaii, and it was great for windy days on the beach, early morning walks, and keeping light rain and breeze off at dinner in open-air settings. The fit is quite flattering as it is not too roomy up top and is comfortably fitted at the waist and hips. I appreciate that this jacket has a roomy zippered pocket on the front chest, spacious hood, is very stretchy, and can cinch at the bottom. Overall, I would (and likely will) repurchase an additional jacket for fieldwork this summer.
Color is way off
The Quality is nice, but was very disappointed in the color. The site made it look light blue, which was what I was wanting. The color is actually a dark Aqua, or greenish Aqua. Material is also very nice as well. I may exchange it for the Peach/orange color.
