Plastic design breaks easily

The water reservoir included with this pack broke while I tried to clean it for the first time. The bite valve snapped off of its mount, cracking the plastic.

It Works

Generally, this pack works we for me. The spout fixture has a cool magnet that allows it to be easily secured to the shoulder strap AND easily remove it to take a drink (no clips to fiddle with). Because I use this for running, the downside is the overall size and weight. I've had other hydration packs that I hardly notice while running, but the padding on the shoulder straps and the overall length of this pack is over-done in my opinion (especially since there really isn't much room for cargo).

Katari

Good fit, the perfect size for minimal interference with activities. It actually cools off your back a little

I've had the pack for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the pack for 8-9 months now, the pack itself is very nice, great size for long bike rides, just big enough for snack, phone and shell jacket. Comfortable and nice features. Would give 5 stars but the hydration pack still makes the water smell and taste like plastic even after multiple uses and airing out for 8 months. I tried the recommended "deodorizing" steps twice, but that only helped a little.

MTB hydration pack for AZ riding

My 13 year old is using this hydration pack for his mountain bike racing team. He says it is lightweight, breathable in the AZ heat, and easy to drink from vs grabbing a water bottle from the rack.

Water Doesn’t stay cold

The water doesn’t stay cold. But is lighter than my old hydration pack.
