Best tire for climbing rooted rocky inclines common in the east coast.
This has been my go-to tire for years, the performance and grip are amazing. I've tried other brands and always found myself going back to Maxxis.
What is not to like about Maxxis tires?! The traction and quality of these tires are the best on the market, hands out down. Using this as a rear tire on my enduro bike and it handles anything, highly recommend.
I've tried a couple other tires on the rear of my bike but none of them seem to perform as well as the DHR2. It works everywhere.
Always a predictable tire that can be used in the front or back. Tends to lose a little grip as a front tire in fast flat turns but really good otherwise. Great tire up front paired with a recon out back for trail biking.
Casing is off. Has a wobble. Makes my bike shake
