- Center tread features ramped knobs to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike
- Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control
- Side knobs look similar to those on the Minion DHF tire, but they're widened to provide more support when cornering
- Available Maxx Terra rubber compound is softer and offers more traction than 3C Maxx Speed, yet provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than Maxx Grip
- 3C Triple Compound uses a harder, longer lasting base layer and 2 progressively softer top layers in order to maximize traction and stability
- Tubeless-ready (TR) allows for use without a tube; just add sealant
- Wide trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30–35mm inner width rims
- EXO protection offers highly flexible, densely woven fabric that increases cut/abrasion-resistance in the sidewalls, making it ideal for rocky, treacherous trails

Hard Climer
Best tire for climbing rooted rocky inclines common in the east coast.
Maxxis tires
This has been my go-to tire for years, the performance and grip are amazing. I've tried other brands and always found myself going back to Maxxis.
Maxxis Tires For the Win
What is not to like about Maxxis tires?! The traction and quality of these tires are the best on the market, hands out down. Using this as a rear tire on my enduro bike and it handles anything, highly recommend.
In stock and available!
I've tried a couple other tires on the rear of my bike but none of them seem to perform as well as the DHR2. It works everywhere.
Can’t Go Wrong
Always a predictable tire that can be used in the front or back. Tends to lose a little grip as a front tire in fast flat turns but really good otherwise. Great tire up front paired with a recon out back for trail biking.
Bad Tire
Casing is off. Has a wobble. Makes my bike shake
