Generally good, but has a few flaws
This light has four modes: steady white, flashing white, steady red and flashing red. Of these, I have found only flashing red useful. The two white modes ruin my night vision if I am out early, and I am not sure drivers will be able to tell the steady red from a car's tail lights. I want them to see something they need to react to. The button needs design improvement. It can be difficult to operate, particularly with a gloved hand. And a spring clip would be better than the fixed clip they chose. The unit is lightweight and seems well built otherwise, and is generally suitable for me. For the several drawbacks I quoted, the product loses one star.

Awful switch makes this unusable
This light has everything going for it. It's small, it's bright, it has multiple modes (both white and red lights, solid and blinking) and best of all, it's rechargeable with a standard USB plug... so you'd think this gets a 5-star rating, yes? No. Because the switch on this is almost impossible to turn off. The switch is just a button you press in the center (in between the two lights), and while it's not too hard to switch modes, it is almost impossible to turn off. I'm gonna have to return this. Great idea, extrarodinarily poor execution.

Great light, Bad Switch

I bought two of these lights for my husband and I to wear on the back of our caps or headlamp straps while walking or running at night. The lights are bright and the size of the device is perfect for our use. However the switch is very challenging to use. It's relatively easy to turn on and cycle through the light modes, but turning it off requires too much finesse. Just pressing and holding with my finger or thumb doesn't work. If I use my finger nail or a ball point pen, I can get it to depress enough to turn off. Planning to return these.

Not awesome

I bought two to run the night leg of Hood to Coast in Oregon. I wanted something more sustainable since the cheap amazon flashers burn out fast and end up in the land fill. The light on one of the amphipods is really bright, but the light on the second one sucks, so there is some quality control issues here. They take forever to charge, I suspect that the connection to the charger is not great so and it charges inconsistently. They are difficult to turn on and off, it is hard to get the button to press. I need them to work well when I am out in the dark and they just dont. I dont want to throw them away, bc I dont want them in the landfill, but man I really want to throw them away.

Difficult to turn on and off

We bought this light for my 8-year old son. He really loves having the light, but he needs our help to turn it on and off, as the button is super stiff. I figure that the stiff button would be great for an adult on a hike in the rain, but it's frustrating for our son. Turning off is the worst part - the button must be held for 5 seconds, and it's not completely clear if the button has been depressed.

Red Light Stopped Working

Received this as a Christmas gift and only used a handful of times since then. I clipped it to the back of my headlamp for early morning runs, but after probably 6 total uses, the red light doesn't work at all (either when trying to use or charging). The white lights still do, so I assume there is a loose connection somewhere. Poor quality.

Love the light it gives but the clip broke

Bought this for walking my dog in the dark, and it was great until the clip broke. It helped me see what's in front of me, and made me visible to others. Wish the clip was more flexible or there was some other way to attach it to my waist leash.

Safety Light

I mainly use as a back-of-the-head red blinking light to let drivers know I'm there when running. This works great for that purpose. Definitely bright enough and get's their attention!

Amphipod mini, leave out the Versa

Bright LED with flashing bright and red lights. Recharging on a computer port and no need for batteries is ECO friendly. Great for walking and bike riding at night. It is very small and could be lost easily, may need
