Perfect base layer!

An absolutely perfect fit - Large (I’m 6’1” and 195 lbs.). Incredibly comfortable. As a ski patroller, I’m skiing all day and couldn’t be happier wearing these as my base layer. I highly recommend!

Warm and Flexible!

Bought these for a trip to the Artic and these did not disappoint! Layering these with hiking pants, and a wind breaker, they kept me plenty warm all the way to 4F (-15C) while hiking glaciers and mountains north of the artic circle. These pants are itch free, soft, and incredible well made. They felt a little thin at first but once on, I nearly overheated until I got outside. Additionally with the material being wool, there was little to no smell even after wearing these for 4 days. Durability wise they appear to have held up well so far but I will update if there is any change. Size runs true to the chart

Outstanding

Very pleased, doesn’t get better. Softer than that another big merino wool brand you surely know. Comfortable over a broad range of temps under a pair of jeans. I’ve already worn these lounging in a cool house, hiking, and shoveling in windy 10 degree weather. Warm, not withering hot. No stink build up which means less laundry and no avoidance from my sweetheart. I used a laundry bag to wash and hung overnight to dry - these are a very fine thread, smooth, low bulk base that I want to keep forever! You could throw them in the wash, but they deserve better. True to size chart.

Fantastic purchase

This is one of those items for me that made me think "Why didn't I have this before?" I use these to bike ride during the winter and fall in New York City and they have been superb so far. I especially appreciate them in cold, windy conditions. The wind resistance is solid and considering how shear they are, the amount of warmth they have provide is just excellent. I can wear these as a solo item with a pair of shorts over them in temps in the 30's. I will be upfront that my lower body handles cold better than my upper body so this may not be the case for everyone. You may want to wear them under some jogging pants. I have full range of motion. I can stretch with no restrictions at all and pedal and walk with no issues whatsoever. The fit is tremendous. I am 5'7 with a 33-34 waist and the Medium is perfect. These also make it possible for me to lighten my load when going to work because I no longer need to pack sweatpants. These perform perfectly as a solo garment.

Complete and utter trash

I wore these TWICE underneath waterproof nylon pants hiking. After my second hike in them, they completely were torn apart. Now I'm definitely thick, but not THAT thick. They fit very well, not tight. Very sad considering how comfortable they are. Probably never ordering an Icebreaker piece of clothing ever again.

Comfortable, warm, form fitting

Used for downhill skiing under insulated ski pants in 23 degree F temps. Warm but not too warm. Well made, form fitting and flexible. Excellent fly access. 6'2" tall, 34" waist. Medium fit perfectly.

Excellent base layer for frosty fall flyfishing

Warm and comfortable against the skin without any smell. Wore both the Oasis top and bottom, with Mid Calf Mountaineer Cushion socks under my waders while flyfishing for Atlantic salmon in the frosty Quebec fall temperatures. Love the ability to open the top with the zipper and the sleeves can be pushed up easily when needed. I did find the socks to run a bit on the larger side and would have gotten a smaller pair. Overall, I really like the product and was pleasantly surprised by my first time out with it.

No

I've bought a couple of these over the years. Out of the box they appear great and are cozy comfortable but soon after, with every pair, I noticed the left leg twists. Drives me crazy. The other thing that bugs is that there is no longevity. Within one season holes emerge and soon after it's all over. There's no reason these should break down so quickly. Also your "survey" below with the multiple choices aren't very accurate. On the fit, they are great in the legs, baggy in the crotch, and tight around the waist. On would I recommend, yes but only if these issues can be addressed.

So comfortable and warm

Colorado winters are cold, especially before the sun comes up. Thank goodness I have these to wear to work. It's the perfect long underwear, keeps me warm without roasting me, even when I'm moving a lot. Keeping me dry is important too. Love that they dont smell after a day of hard work. Probably gonna need more...

Warm and Comfy

When it comes to baselayers, there are options galore. But since purchasing the 200 Oasis these have been my go to pair. The fabric is soft and a bit thick, but still fits fine in a ski boot. They fit very well without feeling constricting or baggy. The best praise I can give them is that I don't really notice them when they're on. I just feel warmer, which is exactly what I need. Are they a bit pricey, yes. But if you're going to spend any significant time out in the cold be it camping, skiing, or just walking around, these are well worth the investment.
