Difficult for running and walking

I love my single seat Bob after 2 years and several hundred miles. After three week, I returned the Thule Urban Glide. After five jogs (2-3 miles), I decided is nearly impossible to keep the forward wheel trimmed to run in a straight line. It quickly turns one to two degrees left or right meaning you have shoulder pain trying to keep pointed where intended. The kids don't like being forced to sit reclined making it a poor choice for visiting the zoo meaning I won't take it walking either. Finally, I live in a hot climate and black is a poor single color choice I will try to Bob revolution duallie 3.0 next for $180 less.

My Absolute Go-To

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thule Urban Glide 2 is hands-down the best stroller out there and I've tried so many different ones looking for the perfect stroller. The wheels can make it over almost anything- I use this stroller everywhere from running errands around town to hiking on wide trails with logs and rocks and debris. The handbrake is essential for the steep hills we have here in Colorado. The Thule Urban Glide is essential to my mental and physical health, I really can't imagine life without it!

CHILD HURT- Do not buy!!!

We use this stroller with our 3 year old and 18 month old. Recently, the 18 month old has been able to unlatch herself from the harness. This has caused her to suddenly fall out of the stroller and the pusher almost running her over. Multiple calls and emails to Thule and sharing images of her scrapes have been met with "meets the regulatory requirements". The 3 year old can unbuckle, but is old enough to understand he will get hurt if he falls/jumps out. Also, on the single Glide that we have their is a double button harness which prevents this, so clearly a miss not including it on the double version.

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with this stroller. There are so many different features. It was super easy to put together. I love how flat that it folds down so you can store it. It is so easy to push and steer. My child gets excited to go for a walk in it. You can adjust the seat to different positions. You can also adjust the handle. There is a brake on the handle bar. You can also buy different accessories for it.

Simply amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 daughters, the youngest being 2, a soon to be 7 year old and 11 year old. So we’ve been through a few different stroller brands throughout the years and nothing compares to this Thule Urban Glide 2 stroller. This stroller has it all. It’s very east, fun and a pleasure to maneuver, either for a walk or jogging. The front wheel locks in place if you want to go jogging and the handle break makes it easy to control the speed. I love the well made, solid and extendable canopy with ventilation and to top it off, you have a lot of storage in the cargo basket that has a zip cover, a rear mesh pocket and extra two mesh pockets that can hold a sippy cup, bottle or just snacks. The stroller folds super easy and flat just with one hand and the cool thing is the back wheels come off just by pressing a button. I have a big trunk in my SUV and I don’t take the big wheels off, but in a smaller trunk , that comes in super handy. This is a well made, heavy duty , top of the line stroller that I love and I highly recommend.

Baby approved

I was testing the UG2 in the house before we went outside. After a few laps around the living room, my son was already asleep. Very easy to assemble. You will need 2 screwdrivers and there is not an air pump included unfortunately.

Great quality and design

Great quality and design features. Bought it as a dual purpose jogger and everyday stroller. I've had great experiences with other thule products and they stand behind their product. The urban glide 2 did not disappoint with its convenient folding, canopy and chassis design. For everyday use, a couple suggestions for an even better experience would be a slightly narrower width. The handlebar, when folded, will interfere with the parking brake (I like to set the parking brake before folding so you can stand it up against a wall since it doesn't stand by itself). Also, if the harness padding was a softer material that would be a really nice touch.

Recommend

We have been using this for a couple months now and really like it. Baby seems to like it is as well. We take it on trails near us on the west coast and it rides nicely. Just got into jogging with it and overall good experience. We got the silver and blue colour - really nice. A couple of comments - we had issues with the front wheel and the cover on top of it - the screw kept falling out. Would make loud noises and slow down the stroller from moving. My partner was able to fix it by removing some parts, but frustrating to have to deal with. For future models, I’d like it if there was more to the safety strap. It would be great if it could act as a clip on your shirt like on a treadmill, where if it pulls off the stroller will brake. Because the wrist strap is a bit annoying to get on and off. Also not sure if future models could be lighter? I’m able to lift it but it’s not incredibly light - especially after giving birth. Last thing, the clip on the side that keeps the stroller folded, please make this a different colour than black as it took us forever to figure out how to open the stroller and second, if it could fold up and down to clip instead as right now it’s channeling to use. Other than this, I enjoy it. I do recommend it despite my issues with it. Shipped fast too!

My daughter won’t use it because of seat recline

It’s great in a lot of ways, the handlebar, the under storage is big, it maneuvers well, I like the wheels BUT due to the fact the seats stay reclined at a 45 degree angle, my daughter hates it (she’s used to the single bob that she can sit upright). Overall it’s just uncomfortable for my kids so they don’t want to use it which makes it not functional for me. I did also have some shoulder pain after using this more so than my single bob. Hated to do it but ended up returning it. Thankfully REI was great about the return. I only wish they still sold the double bobs. :/

LUXURY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stroller is the epitome of luxury. There are SO many things I love about it. First, the actual body of the stroller allows me, and more specifically my husband, to run with the stroller with all the room he needs for his legs and knees. Previous strollers would have not allowed for him to be able to do this as he is over six feet and his knees would always hit into the back of it. Next, the grip of the handle bar just feels smooth and firm, plus it can be folded down when the stroller needs to be stored. My favorite part of this stroller is the very large storage area at the bottom. It is also covered with a zipper, so you can keep things in there without fear of them being wind blown or wet from rain. OH and the wheels are big and sturdy and allow for a super smooth glide. Getting the stroller folded up is mostly simple. I feel it’s always just a matter of time to get used to it with any stroller. Same with unfolding. The break for the stroller was conveniently located near the foot of the stroller. The front wheel can also be locked to keep the wheel in a straight position, but you need to actually go to the front wheel to do this. It would be great if you could lock the front wheel from the handle bar area, or even in a similar location to the break.
The buckles on this stroller is another feature I really like as its simple and doesn’t require multiple steps like other strollers. Overall this stroller is a 10/10 in my book.
