Perfect for a cold, rainy trek
These kept my hands dry and warm during a windy, rainy trek in Patagonia. They were comfortable and weren't too bulky which was perfect for gripping my hiking poles. They can be a little hard to get on sweaty hands, but aside from that no complaints about this product.

Not waterproof
I bought these gloves because the packaging says "100% waterproof" and "seam-sealed wind/waterproof." I removed the gloves from its packing today and wore them for the first time. We had light rain and I could feel a little moisture in the fingers; then I got more water on them holding onto a wet guard rail while walking down some stairs, after which time, the water had seeped all the way through, and the gloves were soaking wet.

great gloves

I’ve had these for two seasons now. I’m hot natured anyway, so these are the best weight and no bulk. I leave them on my dashboard in the winter as they’re heated up by the window defrost. Once outside, they’re warm and stay warm while hiking or other activities. I think that’s the key to warmth, remaining active. These aren’t super insulated, so one can’t expect them to keep hands warm if staying still for long periods. The only downside for me in the phone touch. The stitching is juuuust off on the index finger, causing the touch sensitivity to not have full contact with the screen. I need to twist my finger to get full contact when taking pictures.

Great gloves for winter adventures

I bought these gloves as a Christmas present for my mom. She was looking for: waterproof, windproof, touch screen capable, and grippy enough to be able to drive and grip trekking poles. After about a month of use, these are performing wonderfully! They are much warmer than a standard liner glove, and hold up to the elements pretty well. The touch screen finger capability, while a little finicky for her at times, does work, and compared to other gloves that claimed to have this capability but absolutely did not, these are working great. They've been used on hour long walks and day hikes in the rain and wind in winter here in western Oregon, in temperatures in the 40s, 50s, and down into the 30s.

NOT Xtreme All Weather Gloves

I really wanted to like these. The touchscreen ability is excellent. Better than most gloves. But, these are NOT made for really cold weather. I wore them during a 90-minute cycling session in the mountains in about 32-38F degree weather and my fingers went numb about 10 minutes into my ride. It says it is wind resistant but I could actually feel the wind running through my gloves. The advertising said it was their "warmest" glove for extreme cold and after this experience, I say it may only be good for probably above 40F degree weather. Winter in Colorado is very cold so wish they made it warmer. I eventually went with Hestra and Pearl Izumi in even colder weather (less than 32F) and they worked VERY well.

Xtreme disappointment

I bought these for a trip to Patagonia and they utterly failed to stand up to the cold, wet conditions. I had to buy a second pair of gloves to wear on top of them to stay warm. After that, I thought maybe they would be OK in a more temperate situation so I wore them on a 120-mile bike ride, during which it was about 60 degrees and rainy. They soaked right through and didn't do much to keep my hands warm. Not only that, after a night hanging in my hotel room, they were one of the only items I'd worn that were still quite wet. Stay away!

Disappointed

I have worn these gloves for years - gone thru several pairs after wearing them each multiple seasons. I bought a new pair for an upcoming NYC trip that had touch screen capabilities. These gloves look identical to the others I have purchased. I wore them ONE TIME for maybe an hour at a cool football game. Put them in my jacket pockets and got them out tonight... the reinforced part of the fingers and palms are all scratched up. Must have been from the concrete bleachers at that game. I can’t tell you how many times I wore the other pairs I have had and nothing damaged them. Very disappointed. I’m too close to my trip to return these and have to have gloves due to the forecast. I am very disappointed in Seirus for the quality!

Great gloves

This is my second pair of these gloves. The first pair lasted years without issue, I just unfortunately lost one of them. These are my go to gloves for temperatures 25F or above. Windproof, waterproof, and comfortable to wear. They are nice for when you actually need to use your hands in the winter. The added touchscreen capability is a nice upgrade as well. If I'm walking in very cold weather for long periods of time I need something warmer though.

Just right medium weight glove

I needed a glove for hiking that was thicker than a typical stretchy liner glove but not a ski-level insulation. These were perfect! My hands run cold and for reference I typically hike with some sort of gloves until it’s summer and 65+ degrees. I used it on a hiking trip in 50-degree weather with some drizzle, and my hands stayed warm and dry. Typical Pacific NW hiking day! So happy!
