High performance, good looking shoes

These shoes are awesome! Purchased the brown/cypress shoes and the actual colors match the photo. Fit is slightly roomy, but I prefer a little room to wiggle my toes and the laces cinch up tight. Have gone for a few hikes in varied terrain and a few stream crossings as well -they are definitely waterproof and super grippy! I love that I can wear them for performance and for style -this is a versatile, well-made, good looking shoe, as well as the most comfortable pair of shoes I own!

Best Hiking Boots I’ve Owned

These boots have it all: comfort, durability, water resistance, high quality material, fashionable, etc. I retired my Five Tens after they’d seen way too many miles. I was wary of Foresakes because I hadn’t heard much about them and to be honest, I really like how they look so I thought they had to be too good to be true. I figured I would give them a try anyway and I’m so glad I did! These boots are incredibly comfortable. There wasn’t really a “break-in period” and I wore them to Havasupai about a week after I got them. Since then, I’ve hiked around N. Arizona/Southern Utah in soft sand, hard rock, ice, snow, water, dirt... these boots carried me though it all. When my friends were complaining about their knees on Day 2, mile ~20 of a backpacking trip, I still felt like I could hike 20 more miles. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand. I absolutely love my Foresakes. (And no, I didn’t get a discount or paid to write this in any way... I’m not affiliated with the company, I just love my boots that much)

Exactly what I was looking for!

I needed a lightweight but still functional pair up hiking boots for my recent trip to Africa. they definitely run a little narrow, but I have very narrow feet so they were perfect. They did really well and they traction was great on a brutal 6 hour hike in the rain forrest. They were also still not to heavy and comfortable to wear in the car on the game drives where we spent the whole day in the car. These are the perfect in between if you want traction and support but don't want to carry around heavy duty hiking boots.

Best (and cutest) Hiking Boots!

Seriously love my Range High Boots. I bought them for a trip to the Rockies and they were perfect for hiking and cute enough to wear after hiking too! My husband bought another brand of boots for the same trip and while he was slipping all over the ice, I was totally stable. I would highly recommend this boot both for style and effectiveness.

Not waterproof, but a great boot

Got a great sale price. After a long, exhaustive search, these are THE boots. So comfortable. One day of slight discomfort on my long middle toes, then total bliss. I have worn them daily for two weeks. I don't really want to take them off after a couple of hours traipsing up and down through mud, gravel, boulders, hills, creeks, and logs. However- water gets in to the tops of my middle toe area. I assume it comes in through the front where the sole wraps up. I love the boots enough to wear smart wool socks and live with it. Super grippy, I can feel the trail so similar to barefoot shoes, but they have some squeezy soles too. Love the uber simple laces. They look cute and cool. Oh, I am about a 9.75. I tried a 10 and kept the 9.5, I think they run somewhat large.

Just an FYI

I like the boot, it just looks really large and they are too large. I wear a 7.5 and need to return. I'd say they run at least a half size larger than normal.
