Needed an economical sleeping bag that i didn't mind getting beat up for a survival class. It kept me warm in my makeshift shelter, in 5 degrees, while the wind was ripping at 7'000 feet.
Purchased this about 1 month ago and have slept in it a few times already. Once, in a hammock and it was plenty warm when it was frosty in the morning. Then again, when the temperature was warmer, it got very hot in the back but just unzipped a bit to cool off. The bag got rained on during a thunderstorm and the wetness just pooled up on the outside. Some moisture did wick into the insulation, and even though it felt a bit damp inside, I stayed warm. It can be a bit of a snug fit if you are a full size person and my wife did not like it but it's not meant for women.
The sleeping bag was good quality and it was on sale and a great price.
