Yes , I recommend this product
I bought this color in size 3 for my 18 month granddaughter (since 2 was out). The 3 fits fine since no sleeves, and she can now wear it for 2 years. The zipper and bindings are well constructed to prevent zipper catches. She can wear the solid color with most any solid or print dress or pants. The fleece is thick and should wash well. It should work well as a hand-me-down for boy or girl.
